Phaplu to Everest Base Camp Trek is the less crowded trekking route of the Everest region. Trekking on this route starts early in the morning and drives towards Phaplu from Kathmandu Valley. It takes almost 8 hours to reach Phaplu from Kathmandu Valley and spend overnight here. After spending overnight, we will slowly walk towards Nunthala and this is the first-day walking trek of this route. There are two types of transportation in Nepal which is roadway and airway. While trekking in this Phaplu to Everest Base Camp Trek, first of all, we will take a drive towards Phaplu. During this trekking period, we have got a horse as a means of transportation. Today is the first day of trekking from Phaplu to Everest Base Camp Trek where we will drive towards Phaplu from Kathmandu Valley. Early in the morning after having breakfast, we will move toward Phaplu which takes almost 8 hours to reach here. On the way to Phaplu, we will have our lunch and get a chance to see the awesome scenery of the natural beauty of Nepal.
This is the first-day walking trek of this wonderful trekking where we will walk towards Nunthala from Phaplu. On the way to Nunthala, we will have many opportunities to get into the natural beauty of Nepal and also get a chance to know about the lifestyle of rural Himalayan people. It takes almost 5 to 6 hours to reach Nunthala from Phaplu.
On this trekking, we will walk towards Kharikhol. The trail drops down the Dudh Koshi River and from here, we will pass through beautiful Sherpa village. We get a chance to explore many small Sherpa villages, agricultural pastures, and beautiful mountain views.
The trail ascent and descent through the alpine forest and Dudh Koshi River offers mesmerizing views of the mountain and landscapes. We get an exceptional view of the mountain and the surrounding landscapes and pass through the forest of rhododendron and pine.
Along with the trail with the view of snow-capped mountains, Gompas, and prayer with the trekkers and locals we meet on the way. We continue beside the river through the forest as we pass through the route. It takes almost 6 to 7 hours to reach Phakding from Paiya. The trail is almost flat with a gentle descent and then ascent to Phakding.
Today, you cross a high-suspension bridge over the Dudh Koshi River. On this day trek; we get an opportunity to enter Sagarmatha National Park which is home to many rare animals and birds. We also get a chance to know about the culture and traditions of the Sherpa people while visiting this place.
It is the first rest day of the Phaplu to Everest Base Camp Trek at Namche Bazaar. From here, you will get mesmerizing views of the mountain like Mt Everest, Ama Dablam, Nuptse, Lhotse, and many other mountains in this region. At Namche Bazaar, we get a chance to explore the Sherpa Museum where you will see the tradition and culture of the Sherpa people.
Today, there are not many ascents or descents and on the way, you get to see many Buddhist shrines, mani walls, Buddhist flags, and mesmerizing views of the Mountain which is Mt Ama Dablam. You will have an opportunity to visit one of the biggest monasteries of the Everest region which is Tengboche Monastery on this day trekking.
The trail is very scenic but also quite challenging. The place has the best view of the towering Ama Dablam in the background and the view from here spectacular and dramatic. It takes 5 hours to reach Dingboche from Tengboche where you get mesmerizing views of mountain and beautiful natural landscapes.
Today is the second-day rest of the Phaplu to Everest Base Camp Trek at Dingboche. At Dingboche, there are several options available for short hikes today and in high altitudes, trekker success depends upon exquisite planning and expert trekking advice. You can have a peaceful time at the Inja River Flow on the eastern side of the valley.
Our trail to Lobuche is snow-covered for most of the section after Thonka and the trail goes up to the drain of the Khumbu region. The path mounts up to Khumbu Glacier and almost half of the climb to the moraine is Dughla.
Early in the morning, we will walk towards Gorak Shep. It takes almost 2 to 3 hours to reach Gorak Sherpa from Lobuche. And after reach in Gorak Shep, we will hike up to the Everest Base Camp. Today is the most exciting day of this trekking where the trail is rugged and on the moraine. After hiking in EBC, we will back to Gorak Shep where we will spend the overnight.
Today at 4:30 am, we will hike up to Kala Patthar where you will get a chance to witness the sunrise from the world’s highest mountain Mt Everest. After enjoying mesmerizing views of sunrise at Kala Patthar, we will trek back to Gorak Shep. In the Gorek Shep, we will have our breakfast and slowly start our trekking towards Pheriche. Today will be the longest day of the EBC trek.
The trail adds a new perspective to the EBC trek and you can enjoy a relaxed walk as the trail again ascends towards Sanasa and Kyanjuma village. On the way, you will get a chance to the lush green forest of rhododendron and pine.
Today, we gently descend through the Hillary suspension bridge over Dudh Koshi and then our treks slowly descend the beautiful village of Monjo. On this trek, we will pass through many suspension bridges, and natural scenery, and pass through many Rhododendrons and pine forests.
Early in the morning after having breakfast, we will walk towards the domestic airport of Lukla and get ready to fly towards Kathmandu valley. After reach in Kathmandu valley, get to explore Kathmandu valley.
