Overview

Manaslu Tsum valley Trek is a unique adventurous trekking route of the Manaslu region. This trekking is the delightful journey that lets you walk along the Nepal Tibet border enjoying the culturing divine highlands settlements and appreciating the artistic monasteries built in those serene and quaint environments. The trek leads you to the breathtaking adventure of a lifetime experience which is a great and wonderful combination on Nepal’s North Mid Western Himalaya region within famous Gorkha district. We could be able to observe the friendly people, their warm hospitality, lifestyle, traditional as well as their language. The dense forest in this region can be a home to many rare and endangered animals and the region is completely banned for hunting, fishing, and animals slaughtering. This region people have their own way of family life which may be quite surprising for many outsiders. The cultural and age-old traditional life around high Manaslu similar to the people of Tsum of strong Tibetan influence which is a mere distance to the border of Nepal and Tibet from Samdu and Samagaon from here adventure leads towards more dry and arid landscapes at Larke Phedi. very famous after Annapurna Circuit Trek, because of the similar high pass and Tibetan Culture.

Manaslu Tsum valley Trek begins from Kathmandu valley with the sightseeing of the UNESCO world heritage sites.  We explore the Budhi Gandaki Valley through a mix of dense forest, terraced fields, and hill villages. The best season for having trekking in this region is March to November. Manaslu Tsum Valley Trek, You may get a glimpse of Himalayan Thar and Blue Sheep if lucky. This trek is recently opened trail that has gained attraction of the many travel lover however the traveler in this region are very less owing to its difficult terrain and very simple accommodations facilities. In this route where the local people are originally from the Tibet, they speak their unique language which is similar to the Tibetan language. Day 01: Arrival in Kathmandu TIA and transfer to hotel
Day 02: Kathmandu Sightseeing & Preparation for the Trek
Day 03: Drive from Kathmandu to Sotikhola [710m/2328 ft] 8 – 9 hours
Day 04: Soti Khola – Maccha Khola [900m/2952 ft]: 6 – 7 hours
Day 05: Maccha Khola -Jagat [1410m/ 4625 ft]: 6 – 7 Hrs
Day 06: Jagat – Deng [1,804m/5917 ft]: 6 – 7 Hrs
Day 07: Deng – Namrung [2630m/8626ft]: 6 – 7 Hrs
Day 08: Namrung – Samagaon [3530m/11,578 ft]: 6-7 hours
Day 09: Samagaon – Pungyen gompa – Samagaon: 6 – 7 hours exploration
Day 10: Samagaon – Samdo [3860m/12,660 ft]: 4 – 5 hours
Day 11: Rest Day in Samdo
Day 12: Samdo – Dharamsala/Larkya B. C. [4460m/14, 628 ft]: 4 – 5 hours
Day 13: Dharamsala – Larkya la [5160m/16, 924 ft] – Bimthang [3720m/12, 201 ft]: 8 – 9 hours
Day 14: Bimthang – Tilije [2300m/7544ft]: 5 – 6 hours
Day 15: Tilije – Tal [1700m/5576 ft]: 5 – 6 hours (1700)
Day 16: Tal – Syange [1080m/3542 ft]: 6 – 7 hours
Day 17: Syange – Kathmandu: 8-9 hours
Day 18: Final International departure                    

Details Itinerary

Day 01: Arrive at Kathmandu       

A delegate will be meet you at the arrival gate of Tribhuwan international airport then you will transfer to the hotel which you have chosen for relax and freshen up, In the evening we will have our welcome dinner with you and your trekking guide. 

Day 02: Sightseeing in Kathmandu

The second day of our trekking we will be taken for a full day sightseeing tour around Kathmandu valley after having breakfast. In this day we will visit center of pilgrimage Pashupatinath temple and Swaymbunath which are enlisted in UNESCO world heritage sites. After sightseeing we come back to hotel.

Day 03: Drive to Barpak

After having breakfast in the morning we will slowly start our trekking towards Barpak after spending one night in Kathmandu valley. It takes almost 6 hours to reach Barpark from Kathmandu valley which is at the height of 2000 meter from the sea level and spend one night in the Brapark village. 

Day 04: Barpark to Laprak

After spending one night in the Barpark we will slowly start our trekking towards Laprak after having breakfast in the morning. While doing trekking in this route we will pass through many beautiful Gurung Villages and spend over night in this place.

Day 05: Laprak to Khorlabeshi

After having breakfast in the morning we will slowly start our trekking towards Khorlabeshi after spending one night in the laprak.  We will enjoy the wonderful views of the Manaslu Himal and other Himalayas and it takes almost 7 to 8 hours to reach Khorlabeshi from Laprak which is at the height of 875 meter from the sea level and spend one night in the Laprak.

Day 06: Khorlabeshi to Jagat

After spending one night in the Khorlabeshi we will slowly start our trekking towards Jagat after having breakfast in the morning. It takes almost 6 hours to reach Jagat from Khorlabeshi which lies at the height of 1410 meter from the sea level and spend one night in Jagat.  

Day 07: Jagat to Philim

After having breakfast in the morning we will slowly start our trekking towards Philim after spending one night in Jagat. Philim is known as the largest Gurung village of Nepal which takes almost 3 hours to reach Philim from Jagat at the height of 1590 meter from the sea level and spend one night in this village.       

Day 8: Philim to Chumling

After having breakfast in the morning we will slowly start our trekking towards Chumling after spending one night in Philim. While doing this day trekking from Philim to Chumling which pass through pine and rhododendron forest and enjoy views of Himalchuli Mountains and spends one night in Chumling. 

Day 9: Chumling to Chokhangparo

After having breakfast in the morning we will slowly start our trekking towards Chokhangparo after spending one night in this place. It takes almost 5 to 6 hours to reach Chokhangparo from Chumling which lies at the height of 3010 meter from the sea level and spend one night in this village.  

Day 10: Chokhangparo to Nile, via Milarepa cave

After spending one night in Chokhangparo we will slowly start our trekking towards Nile after having breakfast in the morning. To reach Nile we have to pass through Milarepa cave and it takes almost 6 to 7 hours to reach Nile from Chokhangparo at the height of 3361 meter from the sea level and spends one night in this place.

Day 11: Nile to Bhajyo (Chhekya)

After having breakfast in the morning we will slowly start our trekking towards Bhajyo after spending one night in Nile. It takes almost 4 hours to reach Nile from Bhajyo which is at the height of 4030 meter from the sea level and spend one night in this village.  

Day 12: Rest at Bhajyo (Cheekya)

This day is to rest and we don’t start our trekking. In this day you can also enjoy the wonderful views of Ngula Dhojyang pass as well the glacier of the Yamdro valley. And we back to hotel and we will spend one night in this village.  

Day 13: Bhajyo to Rachen Gompa

After having breakfast in the morning we will slowly start our trekking towards Rachen Gompa after spending one night in Bhajyo. It takes almost 6 hours to reach Rachen Gompa from Bhajyo which lies 3240 meter from the sea level and spend one night in this village. 

Day 14: Rachen Gompa to Chumje

After having breakfast in the morning we will slowly starts our trekking towards Chumje after spending one night in Rachen Gompa. It takes almost 5 to 6 hours to reach Chumje from Rachen Gompa which lies at the height 3230 meter from the sea level and spend one night in this place. 

Day 15: Chumje for Bihi

After having breakfast in the morning we will slowly starts our trekking towards Bihi after spending one night in chumje. It takes almost 4 to 5 hours to reach Bihi from Chumje which lies at the height of 3130 meter from the sea level and spends one night in this valley.  

Day 16: Bihi to Namrung

After having breakfast in the morning we will slowly starts our trekking towards Namrung after spending one night in Bihi. The trails moves up hillsthrough the forest path and it takes almost 6 hours to reach Namrung from Bihi which lies at the height of 2540 meter from the sea level and spends one night in this village.    

Day 17: Trek from Namrung to Lho

After having breakfast in the morning we will slowly starts our trekking towards Lho after spending one night in the Namrung. It takes almost 4 hours to reach lho from Namrung which lies at the height of 3180 meter from the sea level and spends one night in this village.  

Day 18: Trek from Lho to Samagaon

After having breakfast in the morning we will slowly start our trekking towards Samagaon after spending one night in Lho. It takes almost 5 to 6 hours to reach Samagaon from Lho which is at the height of 3530 meter from the sea level and spends one night in this village.

Day 19: Trek from Sama to Samdo

After having breakfast in the morning we will slowly starts our trekking towards Samdo after spending one night in Samagaon. We will pass through the Kani then we can find Samdo and we will spend one night in this place or this village. 

Day 20: Samdo - High Camp (Ekle Bhatti)

After having breakfast in the morning we will slowly start our trekking towards high camp after spending one night in samdo. We got many opportunities to explore or see the beautiful views of Himal it takes almost 5 hours to reach High Camp from Samdo which lies at the height 4460 meter from the sea level and spends one night in this village.   

Day 21: High Camp – Bimthang

After spending one night in High camp we will slowly start our trekking towards Bimthamg after having breakfast in the morning. It takes almost 7 to 8 hours to reach Bimthang from High camp which lies at the height of 3590 meter from the sea level and spends one night in this village.

Day 22: Rest day at Bimthang

This day is to rest that why we don’t start our trekking. This day we will explore many beautiful of this place and we come back to our hotel and spend one night in this place.    

Day 23: Trek Bimthang to Dharapani

After having breakfast in the morning we will slowly start our trekking towards Dharapani after spending one night in Bimthang. From Bimthang to reach Dharapani we have to cross a wooden bridge, rhododendron forest and the highest cultivating place in the valley which takes almost 6 to 7 hours to reach Dharapani from Bimthang which lies at the height of 1860 meter from the sea level and spends one night in this village.    

Day 24: Dharapani - Ghermu

After spending one night in Dharapani we will slowly start our trekking towards Ghermu after having breakfast early in the morning. It takes almost 7 hours to reach Ghermu from Dharapani which lies at the height of 1100 meter from the sea level and spends one nights in this village.

Day 25: Ghermu – Besisahar

After having breakfast in the morning we will slowly starts our trekking towards Besishar after spending one night in Ghermu. While coming towards besishar we will cross many interesting villages. It takes almost 4 hours to reach Besishar from Ghermu and spends one night in the Besishar.   

Day 26: Drive Besi Sahar to Kathmandu

After spending one night in Besishar we will slowly start our trekking towards Kathmandu after having breakfast in the morning. We also drive by some beautiful villages with farming terraces on both sides of the roads. After reaching in Kathmandu we will spend some time Thamel.  

Day 27: Final departure

We will proudly drop you to the airport to catch your flight back to your home.

Cost Details

  • Airport / Hotel / Airport pick up and Drop by private car/van/bus.
  • Hotel In Kathmandu: 2 Nights standard accommodation in Katmandu and include Breakfast.
  • Kathmandu to Arughat by Jeep and Sangee to Kathmandu by Express bus or Jeep.
  • You’re Meal in During the Trekking as Your standard meals (3 times a day Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner with cup of tea or coffee).
  • All Trekking Permit (MCA), (ACAP), Manaslu Special Permit.
  • Accommodation in Trekking: All accommodations in lodge/tea houses during the trek & Campsite where is not able lodge.
  • Trekking Guide: An experienced, helpful, friendly and English speaking Trekking Guide. His well- paid salary, meals, accommodation insurance and flight ticket etc.
  • Trekking Porter: porters (1 porter for 2 peoples). Salary, Food, Drinks, Accommodation, Transportation.
  • After the Success Trip, Everest Trekking Routes will Provides Adventure Certificate.
  • Arrangement of Emergency Helicopter service which will be paid by your Travel insurance company.
  • Medical supplies (first aid kit will be available).
  • All government taxes.
  • Service charge.

Cost Excludes

  • Nepal entry visa fee (you may easily issue the visa upon your arrival at Tribhuwan International Airport - Katmandu).
  • Your Travel and rescue insurance.
  • Food in city as Katmandu and Pokhara. (Also arrive early from mountain than our Itinerary.
  • Your personal expenses. (Phone call, Laundry service, bar bills, battery recharge, extra porter, bottle of water or hot water, shower etc.)
  • The entire alcoholic drinks and bar bills.
  • Trekking Equipment: Sleeping bag, down jackets, and walking stick
  • International airfare and airport departure tax.
  • Extra Hotel accommodation in Kathmandu because of Early arrive or late departure. Early arrive from mountain (due to any reason) than the schedule Itinerary.

Sleeping

  • Tent (necessary for treks with camping)
  • Sleeping bag (–15° bag will suffice on most treks)*

Hiking

  • Backpack (size depends on whether or not you have porters)

  • Day pack (for your rain jacket, snacks, camera, etc.)

  • Gators (many people wear them but they are not mandatory)

  • Duct tape (fixes just about everything, at least temporarily. To avoid carrying an entire roll wraps the desired amount around a pencil)
  • First aid kit (with moleskin for blisters)
  • Extra passport photos and photocopies of your passport

Manual Note

According to actual official Itinerary and cost if any thing will adding date or staff, or condition bad weather take helicopter, Rescue about these thing the price will be adding.

If you have any more day extra we will organized different type of Activities as Mountain Flight, Helicopter, Jungle Safari, River Rafting, Bungee Jump, and Many other programs.
