Upon landing at the international airport of Nepal, you will see our staff pick you up from the airport. From the airport, you will drop by the hotel in Thamel where you will spend the overnight here.
The guide will be in the hotel where you spend overnight to take you towards the domestic airport at Kathmandu valley. After 30 minutes scenic flight from Kathmandu valley, we will reach Lukla which is the gateway of every trekking destination of the Everest region. From Lukla, our first-day walking trek starts towards Phakding.
On the second day of Island Peak Climbing with EBC, we will walk towards Namche Bazaar after a relaxing night in Phakding. The distance from Phakding to Namche is 7.4 kilometers which takes 5 to 6 hours. Crossing Hillary suspension bridges over Dudh Koshi and finally reaches the biggest Sherpa land which is Namche Bazaar.
It is the first rest day of the Island Peak Climbing with EBC at Namche Bazaar. From here, you will get mesmerizing views of the mountain like Mt Everest, Ama Dablam, Nuptse, Lhotse, and many other mountains in this region. At Namche Bazaar, we get a chance to explore the Sherpa Museum where you will see the tradition and culture of the Sherpa people.
Today, there are not many ascents or descents and on the way, you get to see many Buddhist shrines, mani walls, Buddhist flags, and mesmerizing views of the Mountain which is Mt Ama Dablam. You will have an opportunity to visit one of the biggest monasteries of the Everest region which is Tengboche Monastery on this day trekking.
The trail is very scenic but also quite challenging. The place has the best view of the towering Ama Dablam in the background and the view from here spectacular and dramatic. It takes 5 hours to reach Dingboche from Tengboche where you get mesmerizing views of mountains and beautiful natural landscapes.
Today we don’t start our trekking because today is for the rest and explore the Dingboche. From here we can see the beautiful scenery of nature and wonderful views of the mountains and spend overnight in this place.
Our trail to Lobuche is snow-covered for most of the section after Thonka and the trail goes up to the drain of the Khumbu region. The path mounts up to Khumbu Glacier and almost half of the climb to the moraine is Dughla.
Early in the morning, we will walk towards Gorak Shep. It takes almost 2 to 3 hours to reach Gorak Sherpa from Lobuche. And after reach in Gorak Shep, we will hike up to the Everest Base Camp. Today is the most exciting day of this trekking where the trail is rugged and on the moraine. After hiking in EBC, we will back to Gorak Shep where we will spend the overnight.
Early morning trek to Gorakshep take breakfast and take accommodation at lodge after that leave all belong just carry on day pack visit to Everest Base Camp (5365m.) the day is very hard and long take 8-9 hours Jig Zack trail on the rock and snow to reach at EBC then return to Gorakshep stay overnight at lodge.
After having breakfast early in the morning we will slowly start our trekking towards Chhukung after spending one night in Dingboche. It takes almost 3 to 4 hours to reach Chhukung from Dingbochewhich lies at the height of 4730 meter from the sea level and we will spend one night in this village.
The trail will pass through a yak pasture with no permanent habitant. On this day, the trail will ascend southwards along the moraine from the Lhotse glacier to the east. While trekking on this day, you need to have a good level of fitness. It takes almost 4 hours to reach the Island Peak base camp from Chhukung.
On this day, we will summit this beautiful Island peak. We will start our journey very early in the morning and it is very important to the summit before noon. It is because, after enjoying the summit views, we will descend all the way to the Island peak. The trail will ascend up to the rocky ridge before coming to the base camp of the glacier and after summing, we will trek back to the Base camp where we going to spend the overnight.
After having breakfast early in the morning we will slowly start our trekking towards Khumjung after spending one night in Chhukung. During the time of this day trek we will pass through a lush forest of rhododendron and pine which takes almost 4 to 5 hours to reach Khumjung from Chhukung at a height of 3440 meters from the sea level and spend one night in this village.
The trail is shallower through alpine meadows walking down to the valley. On the way, you will get a chance to the lush green forest of rhododendron and pine. While trekking on this day, we get a chance to explore beautiful Sherpa villages like Tengboche and Dingboche.
We gently descend through the Hillary suspension bridge over Dudh Koshi and then our treks slowly descend the beautiful village of Monjo. On this trek, we will pass through many suspension bridges, and natural scenery, and pass through many Rhododendrons and pine forests.
Early in the morning after having breakfast, we will walk towards the domestic airport of Lukla and get ready to fly towards Kathmandu valley. After reach in Kathmandu valley, get to explore Kathmandu valley.
Today is the last day in Nepal. The guide will be in the hotel where you spend the overnight and the guide will take you to the international airport to see you off and hope you will give an opportunity to serve you again.
