Manaslu Circuit Trek is the best trek in Nepal which leads to a breathtaking view of the world’s eighth-highest mountains. No, trekking in the Manaslu Circuit trek is not possible without Guide even though solo trekking is also not permitted trekking on this wonderful land. As we all know, this beautiful trekking route is one of the restricted trekking routes. And while trekking in a restricted area, you must have a government licensed provided Guide with you, and without a trekking guide, we are not allowed to enter the beautiful region. Even solo trekkers are also not allowed while trek on this route.
There must have at least two people in the group it is because solo trekkers are forbidden by the Nepal Government in the restricted zone of Nepal. It is declared by the Nepal Government that foreign trekkers should take a special trekking permit with Guide before entering the restricted area. There is other trekking route in the Manaslu Region which is Tsum Valley, Larkhe La Pass, and Manaslu Base Camp Trek also needs a special trekking permit with a guide.

And while trekking on this route, we need a special trekking permit to enter this beautiful route and without a special trekking permit you are not allowed to enter this route.
Almost all the trekking destination of the Manaslu region needs special trekking because the entire trekking destination is in a restricted zone. Only the local agency can obtain special trekking permits and individual trekkers can’t obtain trekking permits. To get permits, you have to fill out the form. And to fill out a form, you need a photocopy of your passport and two passport-sized photos.

After landing at the international airport of Nepal, you will see our staff pick you up from the airport. From the airport, you will drop by the hotel in Thamel where you will spend the overnight here.
Today We will collect your passports and photos to prepare your immigration permits. Original permits are needed to collect Nepal immigration permits. You can explore the town on your own. On this day we will visit centers of pilgrimage Pashupatinath temple and Swaymbunath which are enlisted in UNESCO world heritage sites. After sightseeing, we come back to the hotel.
Early in the morning, we will check out from the hotel at Thamel and drive toward Soti Khola. The trail goes along the scenic Trisuli Rivers to reach Soti Khola. It takes almost 7 to 8 hours to reach Soti Khola from Kathmandu valley. On the way, we get a chance to enter a small town in Nepal. The trail goes along the green, rocky mountain, river, and small spring.
First of all, today, we will cross Machha Khola over the suspension bridge. We will gradually towards the small valley of Khorla Besi. On the way, we have an opportunity to see a dense forest of rhododendron and we also get a chance to know about the lifestyle of rural remote Nepal.
The trail passes through various points at riverbanks observing beautiful landscapes of nature and the trail leads you to the Budhi Gandaki River. It takes 7 to 8 hours to reach Deng from Jagat. There are various suspension bridges and dense forests along the trail before reaching Deng and going to spend overnight.

On a trail that takes you uphill and downhill where we cross suspension bridges over the Budhi Gandaki River. We also get a chance to enter a beautiful village, beautiful landscapes, snow-capped mountains, and many more. It takes almost 4 to 5 hours to reach Namrung from Deng and going to spend overnight in this beautiful village.
Today, we will continue our journey after having breakfast. On the way, we will have mesmerizing views of the mountain and beautiful landscapes. Crossing a stream that originates from Lindanda Glacier to reach Sho and also get a chance to see mesmerizing views of Simnang Himal. The trail passes through the hillside to the ridge.
The trail today takes you from Lho to Samagaun which takes you through a forested path and then some barley fields. On the way, we get a chance to see mesmerizing views of the mountain like Ganesh Himal and Himal Chuli. Along the trail, we get a chance to enter a beautiful valley and cross over the Hinang Khola. Today, we also get a chance to see a large monastery which is Ribung Monastery.
Today, we will take a rest in Samagaun. Taking a day rest means not resting for the whole day and on this day trekking, we get a chance to explore all around Samagaun. From Samagaun, we get a mesmerizing view of the mountain like Mt Manaslu. Not only that but also getting a chance to see breathtaking views of Pungyen Glacier and Nadi River will enchant all travelers.
We will pass through various landscapes to arrive at Samado from Samagaun. The trek begins on the descending path to the Budhi Gandaki River. We also get a chance to pass through the Juniper tree and also cross a wooden bridge. Today, we also get a chance to know about the culture and traditions of Buddhist People. It takes 3 to 4 hours to reach Samdo from Samagaun and going to spend overnight.
Along the trail, we will cross a wooden bridge over the Budhi Gandaki River. We will hike up toward Dharamsala and on the way; we get a chance to get an impressive glimpse of the Larkya glacier. We also get a chance to see the magical views of snow-capped mountains from this route.
Today, we will cross Larkya La pass before entering Bhimtang. On this day, we will pass through various landscapes, snow-capped mountains, and many more and the trail passes through a rural village, glaciers, and endangered animals. It takes 7 to 8 hours to reach Bhimtang from Dharamsala where we are going to spend overnight.
The trail then leads you through the dense forest and across a stony glacier before finally ascending from a moraine. Today, the trail descends to the pasture and continues towards a bridge over the Dudh Koshi River. It takes 4 to 5 hours to reach Gho from Bhimtang and going to spend overnight.
We will pass through various landscapes of the region before entering Dharapani. Crossing a stony glacier we will finally be ascending from a moraine which leads us through the dense forest of the region. We will pass through fields and climb uphill to arrive at Gho and going to spend the overnight.
Today, this day trek will be the last day at the Manaslu Circuit trek. From Dharapani, we will walk towards Besisahar. The trail descends through a stone-paved path along with a village to Thonje village. We will take a local jeep toward Besisahar from Dharapani and going to spend overnight. We will take the same route towards Kathmandu Valley. After 8 to 9 hour drive from Besisahar, we will reach Kathmandu which is surrounded by a valley. In the evening time, you can walk around Thamel Bazaar which will become more beautiful at night time.
This is the last day in Nepal for you. The guide will be in the hotel where you spend the overnight and the guide will take you to the international airport to see you off and hope you will give an opportunity to serve you again in the high Himalayas of Nepal.
