Overview

Everest Chola Pass Trek is one of the challenging trekking routes in Nepal which lies in the eastern part of Nepal. This trek gives us to explore the famous Khumbu area. The trek leads through the heartland of the Sherpa people who are the original tribes of this high land. This trekking is of the reputable trekking route of the Everest region. The trails will take downhill and then we will ascend to pass through the Mong la pass before reaching Phortse Tenga. The scenery is true to its fame with matching culture laced with wild adventure. The trail continues up to the Kalapathar and back to the Lukla through Thengboche and Namche Bazaar. The trails pass through the many diphthong typical Sherpa people villages and many colorful gompas. This trekking is the combination of many things like viewpoint, mountains, traditions, culture and beautiful villages. While having trekking in this route we get chance to explore world high peaks like Mt Everest, Lhotse, Thamserku, Ama Dablam, and more than 150 other high mountains. The route is mainly Everest Base Camp Trek and Gokyo Valley Because Chola is the middle part of Kalapathar and Gokyo Ri.

Everest Chola Pass Trek starts from the Lukla. While having trekking in this region we get chance to explore Sagarmatha national park, a UNESCO world heritage sites then after we will reach Namche Bazaar. At the time of trekking, we will pass through some of the beautiful surroundings of this heavenly country Nepal. The best season for this trekking is from March to May and October to December. This trekking route is only for that trekker who is physically fit and fine. It is one of the most famous and adventurous treks in the Everest region. Everest Chola Pass Trek is filled with an amazing experience. This trekking trail is one of the pleasure trekking routes of the Everest region. It is one of the most impinging destinations for those inexpert of the nature lover and trekking as it is taken as one of the best trails that must have to experiences at least once. Day 01: Arrival in Kathmandu TIA and transfer to hotel

Day 02: Kathmandu valley sightseeing 

Day 03: Fly to Lukla and then trek to Phakding (2,652m) – 3 hrs

Day 04: Phakding to Namche Bazaar (3,440m) – 6 hrs

Day 05: Acclimatization Day (3,440m)

Day 06: Namche to Tyanboche (3,860m) – 5 hrs

Day 07: Tyangboche to Pheriche (4,410m) – 5 hrs

Day 08: Pheriche rest day (4,410m)

Day 09: Pheriche to Lobuche (4,910m) – 5 hrs

Day 10: Lobuche to Everest Base Camp (5,360m) then to Gorakhshep (5,140m) – 8 hrs

Day 11: Gorakshep to Dzongla (4,830m) – early morning climb to Kalapathar (5,550m) – 7 hrs

Day 12: Dzongla to Thangna (4,700m) by crossing Cho La pass (5,368m) – 7 hrs

Day 13: Thangna to Gokyo (4,750m) – 3 hrs

Day 14: Explore Gokyo Ri (5,360m)

Day 15: Gokyo to Dole (4,084m) – 6 hrs

Day 16: Dole to Namche (3,440m) – 6 hrs

Day 17: Namche to Lukla (2,800m) – 7 hrs

Day 18: Fly back to Kathmandu 30 minute and transfer to hotel

Details Itinerary

Day 01: Arrive at Kathmandu       

A delegate will be meet you at the arrival gate of Tribhuwan international airport then you will transfer to the hotel which you have chosen for relax and freshen up. In the evening we will have our welcome dinner with you and your trekking guide. 

Day 02: Sightseeing in Kathmandu

The second day of our trekking we will be taken for a full day sightseeing tour around Kathmandu valley after having breakfast. In this day we will visit center of pilgrimage Pashupatinath temple and Swaymbunath which are enlisted in UNESCO world heritage sites. After sightseeing we come back to hotel.

Day 03: Flight from Kathmandu to Lukla and Phakding

After having breakfast in the morning the guide will take you towards Tribhuvan international airport flying for about 35 minutes enjoying beautiful views of the middle hills and mountain of Nepal and we land lukla. After reaching lukla we will slowly start our trekking towards Phakding which takes almost 3 to 4 hours to reach Phakding from lukla which is at the height of 2610 meter fom the sea level and spends one night in this place.    

Day 04: Trek from Phakding to Namche Bazaar

After having breakfast in the morning we will slowly starts our trek towards Namche bazaar after spending one night in the Phakding. It takes almost 5 to 6 hours to reach Namche Bazaar from Phakding which lies at the height of 3440m from the sea level and spend overnight in Namche bazaar.

Day 05: Acclimatize at Namche Bazaar

Today we don’t start our trekking because today is for rest. We will hike up the syangboche airport and the Everest views hotel which is one of the highest placed hotels of the world and day and hike one of the hiking destinations in the area and back to the hotel and spend overnight in the namche bazaar.     

Day 06: Namche Bazaar to Tengboche

After having breakfast in the morning we will slowly starts our trek towards Tengboche after spending one night in the Namche bazaar. It takes almost 6 hours to reach Tengboche from Namche bazaar which lies at the height of 3860 meter from the sea level and spend overnight in this place.

Day 07: Tyangboche to Pheriche

After spending one night in the Tyangboche we will slowly starts our trekking towards Pheriche after having breakfast in the morning. It takes almost 5 hours to reach Pheriche from Tyangboche which lies at the height 4410 meter from the sea level and spend one night in this place.  

Day 08: Pheriche rest day

This day is to rest that why we don’t start our trekking. We also get to wander up the valley to look at a lake and we can climb up onto the ridge overlooking for the view of the imja valley and back to the hotel and stay one night in the Pheriche.  

Day 09: Pheriche to Lobuche

After spending one night in the Pheriche we will slowly start our trekking towards Lobuche after having breakfast in the morning. we enjoy all our full board meals and get set for a good night sleep and it takes almost 5 hours to reach Lobuche from Pheriche which lies at the height of 4910 merter from the sea level and spend one night in this place.   

Day 10: Lobuche to Everest base Camp and trek to Gorakhshep

After having breakfast in the morning we will slowly start our trekking towards Gorakhshep through exploring Everest base camp after spending one night in the Lobuche. It takes almost 8 hours to reach Gorakhshep from Lobuche which lies at the height of 5140 meter from the sea level and spend one night in this place.

Day 11: Gorakshep to Dzongla

After spending one night in the Gorakshep we will slowly start our trekking towards Dzongla after having breakfast in the morning. It takes almost 7 hours to reach Dzongla from Gorakshep which lies at the height of 4830 meter from the sea level and spend one night in this place.   

Day 12: Dzongla to Thangna by crossing Cho La pass

After having breakfast in the morning we will slowly start our trekking towards Thangna after spending one night in the Dzongla. Today we will do one of the day trips which take almost 7 hours to reach Thangna from Dzongla at the height of 4700 meter from the sea level and spend one night in this place. 

Day 13: Thangna to Gokyo

After spend one night in the Thangna we will slowly starts our trekking towards Gokyo after having breakfast in the morning. It takes almost 3 hour to reach Gokyo from Thangna which lies 4750 meter from the sea level and we will spend one night in this place.   

Day 14: Explore Gokyo Ri

We don’t start our trekking because this day is for rest. Today we will explore in the Gokyo ri which is at the height 5360 meter from the sea level then we return back to hotel back and spend one night in this place.    

Day 15: Gokyo to Dole

After spending one night in the Gokyo Ri we will slowly starts our trekking towards Dole after having breakfast in the morning. We pass through the lush forest of Rhododendron and birch forest festooned with hanging mosses and lichens which takes almost 6 hours to reach Dole from Gokyo at the height of 4084 meter from the sea level and spend over night in this place.     

Day 16: Dole to Namche

After spending one night in the Dole we will slowly start our trekking Namche Bazaar after having breakfast in the morning. It takes almost 6 hours to reach Namche bazaar from Dole which lies at the height of 3440 meter from the sea level and spend one night in this place.

Day 17: Namche to Lukla

After having breakfast we will start our trekking come downward to the lukla after spending one night in the Namche bazaar. It takes almost 6 hours to reach lukla from the Namche bazaar which is at the height 2804 meter from the sea level and spend overnight in lukla.  

Day 18: Fly back to Kathmandu 

We will come back to Kathmandu valley by flying from the lukla airport. After reaching in the Kathmandu valley you will transfer to the hotel and take some rest and evening walk in the Thamel bazaar. 

Day 19: Departure Day

We will proudly drop you to the airport to catch your flight back to your home.

According to actual official Itinerary and cost if any thing will adding date or staff, or condition bad weather take helicopter, Rescue about these thing the price will be adding.
