Everest Base Camp with Lobuche Peak is an easy climbable peak that combines two popular trekking in the Everest region. It is one of the best trekking on Nepal which combines both trekking and peak climbing of the Everest region which very popular destination. This trekking is located in the Northeast of Nepal which is close to Khumbu Glacier where we climb through icy terrain, walk a deep notch ridge, and ascend steep glaciers to arrive at the summit. Trekking in the high Himalayan land of Nepal is not an easy job to do. It may seem like an easy walk with a moderate hiking trail but Everest Base Camp with Lobuche Peak will be a little bit challenging. While trekking on this route, we have to cross two popular destinations of the Everest region which are Everest base camp and Lobuche peak climbing. It is also one of the popular peak climbing destinations in Nepal which is an extension of the Everest Base Camp Trek. The trail has the running among the crest and through the glacier moraine which gives the hikers a tough time by making them travel steep terrain over the glacier.

It is quite a challenging trek and the trails are rugged, steep, and rock which makes the journey more challenging. This trek is one of the most difficult treks of the Everest region we have to face difficulties as it is a long-distance trail, difficulties as you gain elevation, altitude sickness, weather, and climates, difficulties as finding routes, difficulties as season, and challenging for independent trekkers. Everest Base Camp with Lobuche Peak begins a scenic flight toward Lukla from Kathmandu Valley and it is an old route. Nowadays, to start this beautiful trekking first of all we have to drive to Manthali, and from Manthali, we will fly toward Lukla. From Lukla, we will start walking trek toward Phakding. On this trek, we get a chance to visit beautiful Sherpa village with mesmerizing views of the snow-capped mountain. Beautiful villages like Phakding, Namche Bazaar, Tengboche, Dingboche, Lobuche, and many other beautiful villages can be visited on this route. We also get a chance to the mesmerizing views of mountains like Mt Everest, Lhotse, Nuptse, Cho Oyu, and many more with many waterfalls. From the top of Kala Patthar, we get a chance mesmerizing views of the sunrise from the top of the Mountain.

Details Itinerary

  • Day 01: Arrival in Kathmandu TIA and transfer to Hotel

    Landing at the international airport of Nepal, you will see our staff pick you up from the airport. From the airport, you will drop by the hotel in Thamel where you will spend the overnight here.

  • Day 02: Fly to Lukla, trek to Phakding (2,651m/8,700ft): 40 minutes flight; 8km, 3 – 4 hours trek

    Very early in the morning, the guide will be in the hotel where you spend overnight to take you towards the domestic airport at Kathmandu valley. After 30 minutes scenic flight from Kathmandu valley, we will reach Lukla which is the gateway of every trekking destination of the Everest region. From Lukla, our first-day walking trek starts towards Phakding.

  • Day 03: Phakding to Namche Bazaar (3,438m/11,280 ft): 11km, 5 – 6 hours

    Today, Everest Base Camp Trek with Lobuche peak climbing is the second day when you will walk towards Namche Bazaar after a relaxing night in Phakding. The distance from Phakding to Namche is 7.4 kilometers which takes 5 to 6 hours. Crossing Hillary suspension bridges over Dudh Koshi and finally reaches the biggest Sherpa land which is Namche Bazaar.

  • Day 04: Acclimatization Day – Namche Bazaar: (3,440m/11,284ft)

    It is the first rest day of the Everest Base Camp Trek with Lobuche peak at Namche Bazaar. From here, you will get mesmerizing views of the mountain like Mt Everest, Ama Dablam, Nuptse, Lhotse, and many other mountains in this region. At Namche Bazaar, we get a chance to explore the Sherpa Museum where you will see the tradition and culture of the Sherpa people.

  • Day 05: Namche Bazaar to Tengboche (3,870m/12,694ft): 10km, 5- 6 hours

    Today, there are not many ascents or descents and on the way, you get to see many Buddhist shrines, mani walls, Buddhist flags, and mesmerizing views of the Mountain which is Mt Ama Dablam. You will have an opportunity to visit one of the biggest monasteries of the Everest region which is Tengboche Monastery on this day trekking.

  • Day 06: Phortse to Dingboche (4,360 m/14,300 ft): 9km, 5 – 6 hours

    The trail is very scenic but also quite challenging. The place has the best view of the towering Ama Dablam in the background and the view from here spectacular and dramatic.  It takes 5 hours to reach Dingboche from Tengboche where you get mesmerizing views of mountains and beautiful natural landscapes.

    On the second day rest of the Everest Base Camp Trek with Lobuche Peak at Dingboche. At Dingboche, there are several options available for short hikes today, and in high altitudes, trekker success depends upon exquisite planning and expert trekking advice. You can have a peaceful time at the Inja River Flow on the eastern side of the valley.

  • Day 08: Dingboche to Lobuche (4910 m) 5/6 hours

    Our trail to Lobuche is snow-covered for most of the section after Thonka and the trail goes up to the drain of the Khumbu region. The path mounts up to Khumbu Glacier and almost half of the climb to the moraine is Dughla.

  • Day 09: Lobuche to Gorak Shep (5170 m/16,961ft), visit Everest Base Camp (5364 m/17,594 ft): 13km

    Early in the morning, we will walk towards Gorak Shep. It takes almost 2 to 3 hours to reach Gorak Sherpa from Lobuche. And after reach in Gorak Shep, we will hike up to the Everest Base Camp. Today is the most exciting day of this trekking where the trail is rugged and on the moraine. After hiking in EBC, we will back to Gorak Shep where we will spend the overnight.

  • Day 10: Gorak Shep to Kala Patthar (5,545m/18,192ft) to Lobuche (5000m) 7-8 hours

    Today at 4:30 am, we will hike up to Kala Patthar where you will get a chance to witness the sunrise from the world’s highest mountain Mt Everest. After enjoying mesmerizing views of sunrise at Kala Patthar, we will trek back to Gorak Shep. In the Gorek Shep, we will have our breakfast and slowly start our trekking towards Lobuche and going to spend overnight on this wonderful land.

  • Day 11: Lobuche to high camp (5400m) 5 hours

    On this day of trekking, we will move towards High Camp from Lobuche. While trekking on this day, we get a chance to see mesmerizing views of the mountain from the route with the natural beauty of this wonderful land. From Lobuche, it takes 4 to 5 hours to reach High Camp.

  • Day 12: Lobuche high to Summit and back to Base Camp (6119m) 8/10 hours

    For Everest Base Camp with Lobuche Peak, it will be a great day because, on this day, we are going to summit Lobuche Peak. On the way, we will get a mesmerizing view of the mountain like Everest, Lhotse, Nuptse, Ama Dablam, and many other beautiful mountains on this route. Very early in the morning, we will start our trekking it is because we have to complete the summit before noon and have back to Lobuche and going to spend overnight.

  • Day 13: Lobuche Base Camp to Pangboche (3,985m/13,074ft) 5-6 hours

    After breakfast Trek to Pangboche takes around 5-6 hour depend on walk and easy days stay overnight at lodge.

  • Day 14: Pangboche to Namche Bazaar (3,440m/11,280 ft): 20km, 6 – 7 hours

    The trail is shallower through alpine meadows walking down to the valley. On the way, you will get a chance to the lush green forest of rhododendron and pine. From pangboche, it takes almost 7 to 8 hours to reach Namche Bazaar the biggest Sherpa land in Nepal. We are going to spend overnight on this beautiful Sherpa land.

  • Day 15: Namche Bazaar to Lukla (2,800m/9,186ft): 19km, 6 – 7 hours

    While trekking on this day, we enter the Sagarmatha National Park home to many rare birds and animals. We gently descend through the Hillary suspension bridge over Dudh Koshi and then our treks slowly descend the beautiful village of Monjo. On this trek, we will pass through many suspension bridges, and natural scenery, and pass through many Rhododendrons and pine forests.

  • Day 16: Fly to Kathmandu (30 Minute) Explore and shopping

    Early in the morning after having breakfast, we will walk towards the domestic airport of Lukla and get ready to fly towards Kathmandu valley. After reach in Kathmandu valley, get to explore Kathmandu valley. This day will the last day in Nepal and at Night time we will walk around Thamel which is very much beautiful at night.
