Annapurna Tilicho Lake trek is also known as the Annapurna base camp trekking.  It gives us chance to adhere Himalayan Thar, snow leopard, wonderful views of the Tilicho Lake which is one of the highest lakes in the world and natural diversity. This is a challenging adventurous trekking which you will never forget in your lifetime. This trekking gives us an opportunity of gaining trekking experience at the beautiful and the most wonderful view of nature around the Annapurna region. The trek is particularly known for the way the landscape, flora and fauna, cultural and climate zone changes as the trek progress. This trekking trail offers superb Himalayans views of whole Annapurna region, Manasalu region and Dhaulagiri Himalayan ranges. This trekking trail provides us to explore with a giant diversity of the ethnics group and this trekking trails which is similar to Annapurna Circuit trekking. The trip begins in Kathmandu with a visit to UNESCO world heritage sites.

Annapurna Tilicho Lake trek the most challenging trekking trails of Nepal. This trek is one of the most popular in the region. It can also be divided into sections those with a tighter time limit. The trekking to this region will be us much closer with environment aspect along with some snow-capped mountain. These routes offer a beautiful landscape of Nepal Trans Himalayan zone, deepest gorge, and different ethical of people. Autumn and spring season is one of the best times for these trekking routes. This trekking trail gives an opportunity to take bath in a natural hot spring which is called Tatopani in Nepali. For the trekking in this region, the trekker should physically fit and fine. This trekking starts from Besishar passes through Marsyangdi River with the wonderful views of the Manaslu and the Himal Chuli in the west. Leading by Expert Mountain Guide & Everest Adventure Team arranges the trekking according to the trekker’s demand.

Outline Itinerary

Day 01: Arrival in Katmandu TIA and transfer to hotel
Day 02: Kathmandu to Syangeby Private Car or Van and Local Jeep share (1100m), 7 hrs drive
Day 03: Trek to Dharapani (1860m), 6 hrs
Day 04: Trek to Chame (2670m),5 hrs
Day 05: Trek to Upper Pisang (3300m), 5 hrs
Day 06: Trek to Ngawal (3600m), 6 hrs
Day 07: Trek to Manang (3540m), 6 hrs
Day 08: Manang (Acclimatization and Normal Hiking)
Day 09: Trek to Khangsar (3734m), 4 hrs
Day 10: Trek to Tilicho Base Camp (4150m), 6 hrs
Day 11: Trek to Tilicho Lake (4919m) and back to Tilicho B.C. 7 hrs
Day 12: Trek to Yak Kharkharka (4200m) 7 hrs
Day 13: Trek to Phedi (4450m) or High Camp (4800m), 5/6 hrs
Day 14: Trek to Thorong La Pass (5416m) and continue to Muktinath (3750m), 7 hrs
Day 15: Trek to Marpha (2700m.) 6/7 hrs
Day 16: Drive to Tatopani Hot Spring (1190m), 4 hrs
Day 17: Trek to Ghorepani (2860m), 7 hrs
Day 18: Poon Hill Sunrise (3210m), Trek to Pokhara (2650m) 6 hrs
Day 19: Pokhara to Kathmandu (200 km), Drive by bus/car or fly
Day 20: Final International Departure

Details Itinerary

Day 01: Arrival in Katmandu TIA and transfer to hotel     

A delegate will be meet you at the arrival gate of Tribhuwan international airport then you will transfer to the hotel which you have chosen for relax and freshen up. In the evening we will have our welcome dinner with you and your trekking guide. 

Day 02: Kathmandu to Syangeby Private Car or Van and Local Jeep share (1100m), 7 hrs drive

After having breakfast in the Kathmandu valley we slowly start our journey towards Syange. In this route we get enjoy the country side of Nepal with its green hills, winding rivers, terraced farm and of course the Himalayan and spend overnight in the Syange.  

Day 03: Trek to Dharapani (1860m), 6 hrs

After spending one night in Syange we slowly start our journey towards Dharapani after having breakfast in the morning. We enter Manang district after crossing a large bridge Tal and we also pass through the village of Kodo berfor reaching Dharapani which is the largest valley of the Manang disitrict and spend overnight in the Dharapani.  

Day 04: Trek to Chame (22670m),5 hrs

After spending over night in Dharapani we will slowly starts our trekking towards Chame after having breakfast early in the morning. Today we walk to the Chame which is also known as the headquarters of the Manang District. On the route we get an opportunity to explore an amazing view of the mountain around this valley and in Chame we spend one night.

Day 05: Trek to Upper Pisang (2670m), 5 hrs

After spending over night in Chame we will slowly starts our trekking towards pisang after having breakfast early in the morning which takes 5 to 6 hours to reach Pisang from Chame. We trek for a while before reaching lower pisang where we spent overnight.

Day 06: Trek to Ngawal (3600m), 6 hrs

After Spending overnight in upper pisang, we will take breakfast and couple hour step gyaru village which most beautiful Annapurna IIII, Annapurna II, Gangapurna, Manaslu, Chulu Far East and Pisang peak and many others trekking peak himalayan white scenery. and Continue to Nawal stay overnight 

Day 07: Nawal to Manang (3500m.) 4 hours

After spending over night in Nawal, we will slowly starts our trekking towards Manang after having breakfast early in the morning. We begin to notice contrast in the landscape and vegetation from today and our short visit to Barge monasteries which is the largest monasteries of the Manang district which will memorable for life time and spend overnight in Manang.  

Day 08: Rest Day for Acclimatization and normal hiking

Today morning we don’t start our trekking because we will take rest in Manang and explore all around the manang valley and another one night in Manang. 

Day 09: Manang to  Khangsar (3550m.) 4 hours

After spending one night in Manang we will slowly starts our trip toward Khangsar after having breakfast in the morning. On the way we cross the river and continue walking on its southern sides through coniferous forest. After reaching kangsar village normal hike with amazing scenery of Annapurna himalayan ranges stay overnight at lodge.

Day 10: Khangsar to Tilicho Base Camp (4400m.) 6/7 Hours

After spending one night in Khangsar, we slowly start our trekking towards Tilicho base camp after having breakfast in the morning. Our trail goes through the middle of the landslide area where by we can see impressive rock formation along the trails and spend one night in Tilicho base camp.     

Day 11: Visit Tilicho Lake then back to Siri Kharka (4900m.) 7/8 hour

After spending one night in Tilicho base camp we went to visit Tilicho Lake and then come back to Siri Kharaka. The lake also holds and importance places for the Hindus as this sacred lake featuresin one of the holiest texts of the hindu, the Ramayana and spend one night in Siri Kharka.       

Day 12: Siri kharka to Ledar (4200.) 6/7 hours

After spending one night in Siri Kharka we will slowly start our trekking towards ledar after having breakfast in the morning. The trails passes an ancient old mani wall in a pleasant meadow and then reaches another small valley of Ledar nd spend one night in this village.   

Day 13: Ledar  to Thorang Phedi (4400m) 5 hour

After spending over night in Yak kharka we will slowly starts our trekking towards Thorung Phedi after having breakfast early in the morning which takes 3 to 4 hrs from Yak kharka to Thorung Phedi. On this trip we get one of the best views of mountains or peaks.

Day 14: Thorong Phedi to Thorong La pass (5416m.) trek to Muktinath (3800m.) 8/9 hour

After spending over night in Thorung Phedi we will slowly starts our trekking towards Muktinath through Thorung la pass after having breakfast early in the morning which takes 7 to 8 hours to reach Thorung la pass from Muktinath. We can take some photo before heading to Muktinath valley at the foot of thorong la pass and spend one night in thorung la pass.

Day 15: Trek to Marpha (2700m.) 6/7 hrs

After breakfast continue trek to marpha, we have down to Kagbeni is which is entering upper mustang restricted permit checking point and big villages with famous monastery and beautiful buck wheat farm and following the bank of kaligandaki river. after kagbeni continue to jomsom, the district of head qua-tar in Mustang. and couple hour trek to Marpha stay overnight at lodge.

 Day 16: Drive to Tatopani Hot Spring (1190m), 4 hrs

After breakfast drive to tatopani, it take around 4 hours drive by local jeep or public express bus. the road is tough and continue to tatopani which is very famous hot spring take bath and stay overnight at lodge.

Day 17: Trek to Ghorepani (2860m), 7 hrs

After spending one night we slowly start our journey towards Ghorepani after having breakfast in the morning. We pass through the village shikha and chitre before reaching a beautiful Rhododendron forest. Walking further more we reach Ghorepani a beautiful village located at a ridge top and spend overnight in the Ghorepani. 

Day 18: Poon Hill Sunrise (3210m), 6 hour and drive to pokhara 1 hours

After spending one night in Ghorepani in the early morning we went to Poon hill to see the wonderful views of Himalaya and scenery and back to Ghorepani and have some breakfast and then we start our journey toward Nayapul. the end of last destination and drive to pokhara stay overnight at hotel.

Day 19: Drive from Pokhara to Kathmandu 6/7 hour by tourist bus

We will drive to Kathmandu valley on the same highway we took to go to pokhara from the similar route through the hills and valleys. Another six hours in the highway will gives us time to observe the villages and town on the way from a different angle and after reaching Kathmandu and checking in the hotels we will have some free time to wander around the street of Thamel.

Day 20: Final Departure at Tribhuwan International Airport

We will proudly drop you to the airport to catch your flight back to your home.

  • Trekking Porter: porters (1 porter for 2 peoples). Salary, Food, Drinks, Accommodation, Transportation.
  • One nights standard accommodation in Pokhara, The hotel is nearby lake, you can enjoy Mountain View and Fewa lakes from roof of the hotel.
  • Arrangement of Emergency Helicopter service which will be paid by your Travel insurance company.

Sleeping

  • Tent (necessary for treks with camping)

According to actual official Itinerary and cost if any thing will adding date or staff, or condition bad weather take helicopter, Rescue about these thing the price will be adding.
