Rolwaling Tashi Lapcha Pass is one of the challenging trekking trails in the Rolwaling region. The trails are situated in the west of the Khumbu region. It is a rugged yet beautiful area rarely visited which is unlikely the neighboring Himalayan of the Khumbu region. Buddhist tradition is taken as the seriously than something else in this region. Many mysterious stories have been passed on about this valley. The trails provide the trekking experiences of the remoteness of the eastern region of Nepal. It offers lots of mountaineering challenges to the adventure. This trekking offers you wonderful views of the mountain. The trails lead you through a wealthy verity on one hand through Tamang and Chhetri village with their typical terrace rice field. It is a great trekking opportunity with a short mountaineering of the Parchamo during this trekking. Festivals are quite different and celebrate with tantric rituals followed by singing and dancing late into the night.

Rolwaling Tashi Lapcha Pass is suitable for that trekker who have physically fit and fine and who have experience or who have the knowledge to climb High Mountain. The trekking normally begins along with the Tama Kosi River before o steep ascent to Simigaon. Through the trekking, you will be pleased with the wonderful views of Parchamo and Ramdung. This trekking offers wonderful mountain views, diverse flora and fauna and rich cultures. The starting point of this trekking is Barabise and the ending point is the Lukla. From this route, we get an opportunity to see the wonderful Himalayan views like Langtang Himal, Dorje Lakpa, Gauri Shankar, Everest. The best season for doing this trekking is autumn and spring.

Day 03: Drive Kathmandu to Sigatte 7 hours by Jeep or Express bus
Day 04: Sigatte – Jagat (1800m) 7 hours
Day 05: Jagat – Simigaon (2400m) 7 hours
Day 06: Simigaon – Donga (3200m) 7 hours
Day 07: Donga – Beding (3500m) 7 hours
Day 08: Beding Rest and acclimatization day: Malung Kharka hike
Day 09: Beding – Na (4000m) 5 hours
Day 10: Na Rest and acclimatization day – Yalung La hike
Day 11: Na – Nyiduk Kongma (4500m) 6 hours
Day 12: Nyiduk Kongma – Drolumbau Glacier (5000m) 7 hours
Day 13: Drolumbau Glacier – Tashi Laptsa pass (5800m) 7 hours
Day 14: Camp – Thame (3800m) 7 hours
Day 15: Short and easy hike to Namche Bazar (3440m) 5 hours
Day 16: Trek to Lukla (2850m) 6/7 hours
Day 17: Fly back to Kathmandu 30 minutes

Details Itinerary
Day 01: Arrive in Kathmandu
A delegate will be meet you at the arrival gate of Tribhuwan international airport then you will transfer to the hotel which you have chosen for relax and freshen up. In the evening we will have our welcome dinner with you and your trekking guide.
Day 02: Kathmandu valley sightseeing tour
The second day of our trekking we will be taken for a full day sightseeing tour around Kathmandu valley after having breakfast. In this day we will visit center of pilgrimage Pashupatinath temple and Swaymbunath which are enlisted in UNESCO world heritage sites. After sightseeing we come back to hotel.
Day 03: Drive Kathmandu to Sigatte
After having breakfast in the morning we will slowly start our trekking towards Sigatte valley after spending one night in the Kathmandu valley. It takes almost 7 to 8 hours to reach Sigatte from Kathmandu which lies at the height of 1020 meter from the sea level and spend one night in Sigtte.
Day 04: Sigatte - Jagat
After having breakfast early in the morning we will slowly start our trekking towards Jagat after spending one night in Sigatte. We walk through the dense forest of rhododendron and cross a suspension bridge in Jagat and spend one night in Jagat.
Day 05: Jagat - Simigaon
After having breakfast early in the morning we will slowly start our trekking towards Simigaon after spending one night in Jagat. In this route we get an opportunity to see the Tibetan monasteries and Buddhist culture of this village and spend one night in the Simigaon village.
Day 06: Simigaon – Donga
After having breakfast early in the morning we will slowly start our trekking towards Donga after spending one night in the Simigaon village. It takes almost 5 to 6 hours to reach Donga from Simigaon which lies at the height 2800 meter from the sea level and spend one night in Donga village.
Day 07: Donga – Beding
After having breakfast early in the morning we will slowly start our trekking towards Beding after spending one night in Donga village. It takes almost 5 to 6 hours to reach Beding from Donga which lies at the height of 3960 meter from the sea level and spend one night in this village.
Day 08: acclimatization day
Today we don’t start our trekking because this day is for rest. In this day trek we will explore all places around the Beding and see the wonderful view of Himal of this route and come back to the tea house and spend one night in this village.
Day 09: Beding - Na
After having breakfast early in the morning we will slowly start our trekking towards Na village after spending one night in Beding. It takes almost 5 to 6 hours to reach Na from Beding which lies at the height of 4185 meter from the sea level and spend one night in Na.
Day 10: Na Rest day
Today we don’t start our trekking because this day is for rest. In this day trek we will explore all places around the Na and see the wonderful view of Himal of this route and come back to the tea house and spend one night in this village.
Day 11: Na - Nyiduk Kongma
After having breakfast early in the morning we will slowly start our trekking towards Nyiduk Kongma after spending one night in Na. it takes almost 5 to 6 hours to reach Nyiduk Kongma from Na which lies at the height of 4750 meter from the sea level and spend one night in this village.
Day 12: Nyiduk Kongma - Drolumbau Glacier
After having breakfast early in the morning we will slowly start our trekking towards Drolumbau Glacier after spending one night in Nyiduk Kongma. We will pass through the fantastic panorama with the Traknding glacier and the great glacier wall of Drolumbau glacier to north and spend one night in this place.
Day 13: Drolumbau Glacier - Tashi Laptsa passes and trek to Camp
After having breakfast early in the morning we will slowly start our trekking towards camp by using route through Tashi Laptsa pass after spending one night in Drolumbau glacier. It takes almost 6 to 7 hours to reach Camp from Drolumbau glacier which lies at the height of 5755 meter from the sea level and spend one night in this place.
Day 14: Camp - Thame
After having breakfast early in the morning we will slowly start our trekking towards Thame village after spending one night in Camp. It takes almost 5 to 6 hours to reach Thame from camp which is at the height of 3805 meter from the sea level and spends one night in the Thame village.
Day 15: Short and easy hike to Namche Bazar
Today day trek is very short and easy because we will hike to namche bazaar which takes almost 2 to 3 hours to reach Namche bazaar which is at the height of 3440 meter from the sea level and spends one night in the tea house.
Day 16: Trek to Lukla
After having breakfast we will start our trekking come downward to the lukla after spending one night in the Namche bazaar. It takes almost 6 hours to reach lukla from the Namche bazaar which is at the height 2804 meter from the sea level and spend overnight in lukla.
Day 17: Fly back to Kathmandu
We will come back to Kathmandu valley by flying from the lukla airport. After reaching in the Kathmandu valley you will transfer to the hotel and take some rest and evening walk in the Thamel bazaar.
Day 18: Final departure
We will proudly drop you to the airport to catch your flight back to your home.
