Ramdung Peak Climbing is situated in the south of the Na which is in the upper Rolwaling region. It gives an access to the upper Rolwaling region from the south through the Khare Khola. This peak climbing is also known as the Ramdung Do. While trekking towards to this peak climbing we can get the splendid view of the Gaurishankar, Dorje Lakpa, Tibetan Himalayan views, Chobabhamre and other several beautiful peaks of this region. As the famous trekking trails of Nepal getting increasingly busy during the main season that the lover of the trekking is looking more for the quiet which is off the beaten route of Rolwaling region. Ramdung Peak Climbing towards the base camp of this peak climbing will be interesting as well as we will pass through several beautiful passes and the beautiful traditional villages. The valley fulfills your quest for novel route and novelty experienced and this region was opened to the trekkers later than another region.

Ramdung Peak Climbing is one of the popular peaks climbing trekking in the Rolwaling region of Nepal. This peak climbing with Everest adventure team is an excellent opportunity for climbing this peaks climbing while exploring the less beaten. The trekking through the beautiful trekking trails of the region along with the crew member of our organization the Everest Adventure Team will be interesting as well as lifetime remembering. The season between September to December and February to May is considered one of the best seasons for this peak climbing. Mainly Sherpa people are seen in this region with their own culture and traditions. This peak climbing is only for those trekkers who have good experience in climbing at the giant mountain will easily climbing these mountains viewing and experiences the most wonderful views of this region. Our trek will begin from Kathmandu towards the valley of Khumbu at the land of the Everest.

Details Itinerary

Day 01: Arrival in Kathmandu TIA and transfer to hotel

A delegate will be meet you at the arrival gate of Tribhuwan international airport then you will transfer to the hotel which you have chosen for relax and freshen up. In the evening we will have our welcome dinner with you and your tour operator.

Day 02: Full day Sight Seeing Kathmandu Valley

After the breakfast, we spend the whole day sightseeing tour in Kathmandu Valley as major point. One of the biggest Stupa in the world, Bouddhanath stupa and Monastry, Old heritage Buddhist temple Soyembhunath and Monastry, Kathmandu Durbar Squer Kumari temple and Patan Durbar Squar krishna temple. The kathmandu sightseeing is real Nepalese traditional culture and heritage touring. After tour will back to hotel and preparation the Everest Camp Trek Trip overnight stay hotel.

Day 03: Drive to Gongar Khola (1350m) via Jiri Charikot 7-8 hrs

After breakfast, we will take a scenic drive from Kathmandu towards Gongor Khola which takes approximately about eight hours. During the drive journey we can have great views of surrounding natural wonders including the daily activities of local people for their survival while we drive over the zigzag hilly roads passing through several local villages and towns.

Day 04: Trek from Gongar Khola to Simigaun (2000m) 4-5 hrs

Gongor Khola is the starting point of the trek. From here we will follow the trail that enters into the dense forest with several ups and downs. We will trek along the river bank and head for the crossing of a suspension bridge before climbing a steep uphill that leads us to the Sherpa village of Simigaun.

Day 05: Trek from Simigaun to Dovan (2,850m/9348ft) 5-6 hrs

Our forward trekking journey from Simigaun passes through several villages inhabited by Sherpa local communities. During our trek, we will have glimpses of Gaurishankar Himal just above the Rolwaling valley. We continue to follow the trail that goes through beautiful pine forest and then make a steep ascent over the rocky ridge. From the top we will make a gradual descent to reach all the way to Rolwaling Khola and continue trekking until we reach Dovan.

Day 06: Trek from Dovan to Beding  (3,690m) 5-6 hrs

After having our breakfast, we will follow the trail that goes along the bank of Rolwaling Khola. We will trek through thick rhododendron and pine filled forest with great views of Gaurishankar Himal. We head towards the crossing of a suspension bridge before ascending up to an area with open fields and the Sherpa village of Beding.

Day 07: Trek from Beding to Na Village (4,180m) 3-4hrs

Leaving Beding we will trek an easy gradient through fir trees. Today is a rather easy and short trekking day. After a while of trekking, the valley becomes broad and flat as we approach towards Na village. Na is a scattered village that has abundance of tea houses and offers good camping grounds for adventure seeking trekkers.

Day 08: Rest at Na Village for acclimatization and local hike.

Today we will take a day rest at Na Village for acclimatization and exploration around Na village.

There are several good day hike options that Na has to offer to its visitors. We can either head up the valley to a small kharka and follow the trail to Yalung Peak Base Camp which is five hours return trip. Or, we can climb to the end of Tsho Rolpa lake for the views of Kang Nachago above Na which takes four hours for a return trip.

Day 09: Trek from Na to Yalung Glacier (4750m) 5-6 hrs

Leaving Na, our forward trekking is a gradual ascend over the rocky glaciated trail. We will continue to trek using our crampons to walk over the slippery and icy sections of the trek. After few hours of tiring trek we will arrive at a good campsite near Yalung Glacier where we will camp for our overnight stay before heading higher up.

Day 10: Trek from Yalung Glacier to Ramdung Base Camp (5150m) 5-6 hrs

We will follow the trail that climbs gradually over to Yalung Danda and from there a steep ascent along the rocky glacier will lead us to Ramdung base camp. During our climbing trek we will have magnificent views of Gaurishankar, Melungste, Yalung and several snow topped high peaks across the border of Tibet. We will set up our camp as soon as we reach the base camp and make necessary checks regarding our health conditions and climbing gears for the successful climb to the summit of Ramdung Peak.

Day 11: Summit Ramdung Peak (5925m) & back to Yalung Glacier 8-9 hrs

Fully equipped and properly acclimatized we start early with the aim to achieve the summit before noon as the strong winds after midday can create obstacles for climbing the peak summit. Following the footsteps and guidance of our experienced climbing experts we will overcome minor technical sections and head towards the summit of Ramdung Peak. Once at the top we are rewarded with stunning views of Everest, Gaurishankar, Melungste, Yalang and other surrounding high peaks. After spending some quality time at the top we will descend following the same route back to Yalung Glacier for our overnight camping.

Day 12: Trek from Yalung Glacier to Na Village 4-5 hrs

After having achieved the summit of Ramdung Peak, we will retrace our footsteps gradually descending over the icy and slippery trail, using crampons we head back all the way to reach the village of Na for the overnight stay.

Day 13: Trek to Kabuk at Tsho Rolpa Lake (4,560m) 4-5 hrs

We will make a decent climb to a bridge over the Tsho Rolpa outflow. From there, we continue to follow the main trail that ascends an ablation valley to the south. Along the trail we pass through Chhukyima where there are couple of teashops that are run by locals of Na Village. We trek towards the end of the valley and climb a steep uphill for a magnificent view of the lake and surrounding peaks. A gradual decent from there will leads us to Kabuk.

Day 14: Trek to Drolambu Glacier (4880m) 5-6 hrs

We start early today because our trail leads through the crossing of the glacier which is best before the sun gets stronger. We cross the plateau to the further eastern corner above the glacier before descending a loose earth trail towards the southern edge of Trakarding Glacier. From here the trail climbs up to reach the northern side of the glacier. Once on the north side, we follow the trail that leads to the snout of Drolambu Glacier.

Day 15: Trek to Tashi Lapcha Camp & Cross Tashi Lapcha Pass (5,755m) 6-7 hrs

We make an early start for the crossing of the challenging Tashi Lapcha Pass. Following the trail that goes over the glacier, we will climb a natural ramp that heads for the crossing of the pass. The pass is a rocky ridge often snow covered and icy. We will have magnificent views of surrounding peaks from the top of the pass. We will make a gradual descend from the top to reach Tashi Lapcha Camp.

Day 16: Trek to Thyangbo Kharka (4320m) 5-6 hrs

Today we start our trek by following the trail that descends down the rocky slopes to the campsite of Ngole. From there we will continue our downhill journey all the way towards Thyangbo Kharka. Thyanga Kharka has a few tea houses and offers good camping sites to adventure seeking trekkers.

Day 17: Trek to Namche Bazaar (3450m) 5-6 hrs

From Thyangbo Kharka we follow an easy two-hour trail towards Thame. From Thame we walk the trail along Bhote-Khosi River. Descending gently towards Phunki Tenga, we continue on our route by crossing a bridge over Dudh Koshi. Passing through several villages and teahouses along the route finally reaches Namche Bazaar - The Sherpa Capital.

Day 18: Trek to Lukla - (2850m) 05 hrs.

After a most exciting and thrilling adventure on Mt. Everest climb, our last day walk takes you back to Lukla on a gentle winding trail through Phakding and Ghat village and then with last climb to Lukla for lunch and overnight stop, evening with last dinner around Khumbu area with staff and guides including porters.

Day 19: Fly to Kathmandu 30 minute and transfer to hotel.

Getting up early to catch the early flight back to Kathmandu from Lukla, (sometime the flight time can get delayed due to bad weather), as the plane reaches Lukla airstrip depart for Kathmandu taking a sweeping scenic flight in a small twin otter or Dornier plane.

Day 20: Final International Departure.

We will proudly drop you to the airport to catch your flight back to your home.

  • Duct tape (fixes just about everything, at least temporarily. To avoid carrying an entire roll wraps the desired amount around a pencil)

  • Extra passport photos and photocopies of your passport

Manual Note

According to actual official Itinerary and cost if any thing will adding date or staff, or condition bad weather take helicopter, Rescue about these thing the price will be adding.
