Overview
Kanchenjunga Trek is one of the unexplored and virgin trekking routes in the Nepal which is located in the eastern part of Nepal. It is the third highest mountain in the world with the height of 8586m. This has been described by many people as the finest trekking route in Nepal. It is the magnificent peak which lays the border between Nepal and India. This trek is one of the most exciting trips to uncover the secrets of Nepal. Trekking in this region is really pleasing trails that offers us a wonderful snowcapped mountain, landscape and exotic scenic view of the Himalayas. Trekking does not get any better than this. You will see the wide range of scenery from lush, tropical jungle through to rhododendron, chestnut and oak forests and then at higher altitudes into the alpine zone. The treks include the natural beauty of the farmlands, traditional village, valleys, and other landscape. This mountain is considered to be one of the most beautiful mountain massifs in the world. Day 18: Final International Departure
Details Itinerary
Day 01: Arrive in Kathmandu
A delegate will be meet you at the arrival gate of Tribhuwan international airport then you will transfer to the hotel which you have chosen for relax and freshen up. In the evening we will have our welcome dinner with you and your trekking guide.
Day 02: Sightseeing in Kathmandu Valley
The second day of our trekking we will be taken for a full day sightseeing tour around Kathmandu valley after having breakfast. In this day we will visit center of pilgrimage Pashupatinath temple and Swaymbunath which are enlisted in UNESCO world heritage sites. After sightseeing we come back to hotel.
Day 03: Fly from Kathmandu to Suketar, trek to Lalikharka
After having breakfast in the morning we get early morning flight Suketar which lies in the eastern region of Nepal. After reach in Suketar we will slowly walk towards Lalikharka and we will spend one night in the Lalikharka.
Day 04: Lalikharka to Khesewa
After having breakfast in the morning we will slowly start our trekking towards Khesewa after spending one night in the lalikharka. During the time of this day trek we will pass through forest and small villages which lies at the height of 2120 meter from the sea level and spend one night in this village.
Day 05: Khesewa to Mamankhe
After having breakfast in the morning we will slowly start our trekking towards Mamankhe after spending one night in the Khesewa. In this day trek route we will enjoy amazing views of the Himalayans and passing through the many beautiful villages and we will spend one night in this village.
Day 06: Mamankhe to Yamphudin
After having breakfast in the morning we will slowly start our trekking towards Yamphudin after spending one night in Manankhe. We have to pass many small villages before reaching Yamphudin which lies at the height of 2080 meter from the sea level and spend one night in Yamphudin village.
Day 07: Yamphudin to Tortong
After having breakfast in the morning we will slowly start our trekking towards Tortong after spending one night in Yamphudin. We have to pass through terraced farm and green meadows and also cross a pass at lassiya Bhanjyang before reaching Tortong and spend one night in this village.
Day 08: Tortong to Cheram
After having breakfast in the morning we will slowly start our trekking towards Cheram after spending one night in Tortong village. During the time of trekking we pass through the thick rhododendron forest and enjoy the wonderful views of the yalung glacier and spend one night in Cheram.
Day 09: Cheram: Acclimatization and Rest
This day is for the rest that why we don’t start our trekking and we will explore all around the Cheram. After having breakfast we went to explore Yalung Glacier and come back to the hotel and spend one night in this place.
Day 10: Cheram to Ramchaur (Ramche)
After having breakfast in the morning we will slowly start our trekking towards Pamchaur after spending one night in the Cheram. We can get an opportunity to see the views of several Himalayans peak and also pass through a small settlement of lapsang before reaching Ramchaur and spend one night in the Ramchaur.
Day 11: Ramchaur (Ramche) to Yalung Base Camp, back to Cheram
After spending one night in the Ramchaur village we will slowly start our trekking towards Yalung base camp after having breakfast in the morning. After reaching to the Yalung base camp and we will explore the natural beauty of this place and we will back to Cheram and spend one night in Cheram.
Day 12: Cheram to Sele La
After having breakfast in the morning we will slowly start our trekking towards Sele la after spending one night in the Cheram village. During the time of this day trek we have to cross four passes and after crossing the pass we continue to Mirgin la pass and continuous walking until we reach Sele la. We will spend one night in Sele la pass.
Day 13: Sele La to Ghunsa
After having breakfast in the morning we will slowly start our trekking towards Ghunsa after spending one night in Sele la pass. During the time of this day trekking we pass through the lush forest of rhododendron, brich and pine forest before reaching Ghunsa and spend one night in this village.
Day 14: Ghunsa to Kambachen
After having breakfast in the morning we will slowly start our trekking towards Kambachen after spending one night in the Ghunsa village. We pass through beautiful wildflower, and cross the rhododendron and pine forest. After reaching in Kambachen village we will spend one night in this village.
Day 15: Kambachen to Lhonak
After having breakfat in the morning we will slowly start our journey towards Lhonak village after spending one night in the Kambachen. During the time of this day trek we have to pass through at steady place before descending to the river until we reach in Lhonak and spend one night in this village.
Day 16: Kanchenjunga base camp, overnight at Pangpema
After having breakfast in the morning we will slowly start our trekking towards Pangpema village after spending one night Lhonak. From Lhonak we will walk towards Kanchenjunga base camp and after exploring Kanchenjunga base camp we slowly walks towards Pangpema which is at the height of 5143 meter from the sea level and we will spend one night in this village.
Day 17: Pangpema to Lhonak
After having breakfast in the morning we will slowly start our trekking come back towards Lhonak after spending one night in Pangpema. It is at the height of 4780 meter from the sea level and we will spend one night in Lhonak village.
Day 18: Lhonak to Ghunsa
After having breakfast in the morning we will slowly start our trekking come back towards Ghunsa after spending one night in the Lhonak village. We will pass through the same cliff from where we climbing up and we will spend one night in this village.
Day 19: Ghunsa to Amjilosa
After having breakfast in the morning we will slowly start our trekking towards Amjilosa village after spending one night in Ghunsa. It is at the height of 2308 meter from the sea level and we will spend one night in the Amjilosa village.
Day 20: Amjilosa to Chirwa
After having breakfast in the morning we will slowly start our trekking towards Chirwa village after spending one night in Amjilosa. During the time of this day trek the trails pass through several villages before reaching chirwa and we will spend one night in this village.
Day 21: Chirwa to Phurumbu
After having breakfast in the morning we will slowly start our trekking towards Phurumbu after spending one night in the Chirwa village. It is at the height of 1549 meter from the sea level and we will spend one night in this village.
Day 22: Phurumbu to Suketar
After having breakfast in the morning we will slowly start our trekking towards Suketar village after spending one night in Plurumbu. We pass through the many beautiful villages of this route during the time of this day trek and we will spend overnight in this village.
Day 23: Fly to Kathmandu
After having breakfast in the morning we take early flight towards Kathmandu after spending one night in the Suketar. After reach in Kathmandu first we checkout the hotel and get some rest and in the evening time we explore the thamel bazaar.
Day 24: Final departure
We will proudly drop you to the airport to catch your flight back to your home.
