Jiri to Everest Base Camp Trek is also known as the Everest Base camp classical trek which is a less common way to reach the base camp of the world’s tallest mountain. This trekking route is highly acclaim trekking route in the Everest region. The beautiful valley of Jiri is known as Switzerland of Nepal in itself a marvelous valley, home to around 16000 populations. Jiri to Everest Base Camp Trek is popular among individuals looking for an extended stay in the Himalayan countryside. It is a greater exposure to the real-life working of the Sherpa people and their culture, untainted by the more popular tourist route that will be encountered later on the trek. The trek follows the traditional route taken by the early Everest expedition The Everest region is also known as the Solu Khumbu which is the house of the Sherpa people. This is the only hike to Everest that involves the long drive Trekking in Nepal and lower Solu Local Villages.
Jiri to Everest Base Camp Trek begins in Kathmandu with visits to the UNESCO world heritage sites. The trails pass through the many villages of the different ethics groups including Tamang, Jirel, Rai, Brahmin, Chettri and of course the Sherpa and walking along this trek involves many ups and downs with the trail being well serviced with tea houses and good campsites in most of the villages. The best season for doing trekking in this region in February to June and September to December, however, July and August are also ok for this trekking but not so clear visibility due to rain and clouds. the trip Targeting to Everest Base Camp It is an inaction trek to an inaction destination. Trekking through the Sherpa village we share many of their hearts and enjoy their generous hospitality. Many families along this route have converted their houses into the lodge to provide food for the foreign tourist and the local tourist too.

Details Itinerary
Day 01: Arrive at Kathmandu
A delegate will be meet you at the arrival gate of Tribhuwan international airport then you will transfer to the hotel which you have chosen for relax and freshen up. In the evening we will have our welcome dinner with you and your trekking guide.
Day 02: Sightseeing in Kathmandu
The second day of our trekking we will be taken for a full day sightseeing tour around Kathmandu valley after having breakfast. In this day we will visit center of pilgrimage Pashupatinath temple and Swaymbunath which are enlisted in UNESCO world heritage sites. After sightseeing we come back to hotel.
Day 3: Drive from Kathmandu to Salleri
After having breakfast in the morning we will starts our trekking towards Salleri after spending one night in Kathmandu valley. We passes through beautiful riversides, jungles and villages and it takes almost 8 to 9 hours to reach Saleri from Kathmandu valley and spend overnight in this place.
Day 4: Salleri to Nunthala
After spending one night in the Salleri we will slowly start our trekking towards Nunthala after having breakfast in the morning. It takes almost 6 to 7 hours to reach Nunthala from Salleri which lies at the height of 2220 meter from the sea level and spend one night in this place.
Day 5: Nunthala to Bupsa
After having breakfast in the morning we will slowly start our trekking towards Bupsa after spending one night in Nunthala. We trek through beautiful rhododendron before reaching Bupsa and it takes almost 5 to 6 hours to reach Bupsa from Nunthala which lies at the height of 2360 meter from the sea level and spend one night in this valley.
Day 6: Bupsa to Chaurikharka
After having breakfast in the morning we will slowly start our trekking towards Chaurikharka after spending one night in Bupsa. We pass through the beautiful small village with the field of barley, wheat and green vegetables which is at the height of 2650 meter from the sea level and spend one night in this village.
Day 7: Chaurikharka to Monjo
After having breakfast in the morning we will slowly start our trekking towards Monjo after spending one night in Chaurikharka. It takes almost 4 to 5 hours to reach Monjo from Chaurikharka which is at the height of 2840 meter from the sea level and spend overnight in this place.
Day 8: Monjo to Namche Bazaar
After having breakfast in the morning we will slowly start our trekking towards Namche Bazaar after spending one night in Monjo. It takes almost 3 to 4 hours to reach Namche bazaar from Monjo which is at the height of 3438 meter from the sea level and we will spend one night in Namche Bazaar.
Day 9: Acclimatization at Namche Bazaar
Today we don’t start our trekking because today is for rest. We will hike up the syangboche airport and the Everest views hotel which is one of the highest placed hotels of the world and day and hike one of the hiking destinations in the area and back to the hotel and spend overnight in the namche bazaar.
Day 10: Namche Bazaar to Tengboche
After having breakfast in the morning we will slowly starts our trek towards Tengboche after spending one night in the Namche bazaar. It takes almost 6 hours to reach Tengboche from Namche bazaar which lies at the height of 3860 meter from the sea level and spend overnight in this place.
Day 11: Tengboche to Dingboche
After having breakfast in the morning we will slowly starts our trek towards dingboche after spending one night in the Tengboche. During the time of trekking we will passes through the lush forest of birch, confer and rhododendron trees and it takes almost 5 to 6 hours to reach Dingboche from the Tengbouche and spend one night in this place.
Day 12: Dingboche: acclimatization
Today we don’t start our trekking because today is for the rest and explore around the Dingboche. From here we can see the beautiful scenery of the nature and wonderful views of the mountains and spend overnight in this place.
Day 13: Dingboche to Lobuche
After spending one night in the Dingboche we will slowly start our trekking towards Lobuche after having breakfast in the morning. It takes almost 5 to 6 hours to reach Lobuche from Dingboche which lies at the height of 4940 meter from the sea level and we will spend one night in Lobuche.
Day 14: Lobuche to Gorak Shep, visit Everest Base Camp
After having breakfast in the morning we will slowly start towards Gorak shep after spending one night in the Lobuche. While having trekking in this route we get an opportunity to see the wonderful views of mountain and we will visit Everest base camp. It takes almost 6 to 7 hours to reach Gorak shep from Lobuche which lies 5170 meter from the sea level and spend one night in the valley.
Day 15: Gorak Shep to Kala Patthar to Pherice
After one night in Gorak shep we will slowly start our trekking towards Kala Patther after having breakfast in the morning. After reaching Kala patthar we slowly walk towards Pherice which takes almost 7 to 8 to reach Pherice from the Kala patthar which is at the height of 4288 meter from the sea level and spends one night in this place.
Day 16: Pheriche to Namche Bazaar
After having breakfast we will start our trekking come downward to the Namche bazaar after spending one night in the Pheriche. We get an opportunity to see the beautiful views of mountain and natural beauty of the nature while doing trekking in this route and spend overnight in the namche bazaar.
Day 17: Namche Bazaar to Lukla
We will come back to Kathmandu valley by flying from the lukla airport. After reaching in the Kathmandu valley you will transfer to the hotel and take some rest and evening walk in the Thamel bazaar.
Day 18: Fly to Kathmandu
We will come back to Kathmandu valley by flying from the lukla airport. After reaching in the Kathmandu valley you will transfer to the hotel and take some rest and evening walk in the Thamel bazaar.
Day 19: final Departure
We will proudly drop you to the airport to catch your flight back to your home.
