Overview

Guerrilla Trek is newly opened trekking trails which lies from the far western region of Nepal. This trekking trail passes through the Myagdi, Rukum, and Rolpa which is a fabulous district with low population densities epicenter of Nepal’s ten-year conflict.  Trekkers can retrace the footsteps of the trek and imagine what it must have been like to hike and fight in this kind of terrain. In this trekking, we can mostly see the ethnic groups of this region are Thakali, Tibetan, Chettri, Brahmin, and Magar.  This trek offers a memorable journey through the heartland of post-conflict territory. The trek gives us an opportunity to travel and trek along the trails used by the Maoists during the period of decade-long insurgency. In the time of trekking, we will pass through the lush of pine tree, birch, rhododendron, and hemlock, oak and juniper. The trek route intends to take the trekking to the places. At one time during the time of the revolution, the region had an autonomous government in place at Banphikot, Rukum. The Trekking route is connected with Lower Dolpo Trekking and Upper Dolpo Trekking Route as well.

Guerrilla Trek starts from the west of Pokhara city part of the Annapurna trekking region. This type of trekking is for those trekkers who are unique traveler seeker an experience that could long ago be had in Nepal’s well-established area. This trail has a historic attraction but there are challenges are also challenges of infrastructure and making local aware of how they can benefit from tourism.  Traditional dancers perform the Danphe & Peacock dance which shows a Danphe trapping a peacock with its sweet song. Guerrilla Trek provides a chance to meet people of Nepal largely unaffected by the commercialization and regulations of the travel industry.  This trekking is suitable for organizing camping and tea house because there are few numbers of hone stay and tea house facilities. The best season for doing this trekking is from late March to May and September to mid-December. Local Trekking Guide leads to Less Touristic Trekking route and Evergreen scenery in Nepal.
