Beautiful Short Annapurna Sikles Trek

Annapurna Sikles Trek is a short trek with the wonderful mountain views which is located to the northeast of Pokhara city. This is one of the oldest and the second largest Gurung village in Nepal. The trail has blossoming forests of rhododendron in spring where you can plan for families and friends too and it is the part of the Annapurna conservation projects. The villagers follow with Shaman priest and a Buddhist priest in marriage, death and dealing with ill fate. Trekkers can see a well-preserved example of traditional Gurung culture, the lifestyle of the people here and handicraft production. This trek will be the combination of awesome Gurung culture, wonderful traditional village life and a Himalayan panorama of Annapurna range as well as Mardi Himal Trek. With the splendid Himalayan views, trekking passes tricky terrain with typical villages. It is considered as a model village and is an integral part of their eco-route.

Annapurna Sikles Trek is newly opened trekking route of Annapurna region. The trekking route offers wonderful views of the Annapurna and Manaslu ranges. The local cloth weaving and the ancient water is driven flour mills are another attractions of this village. The best season for doing this trekking is March, April, May, September, October, and November. Another major attraction of this region is a Tara hilltop from where we can see the wonderful views of Annapurna South, Himchuli, Machhapuchhre, Annapurna 2,3,4, Lamjung Himal and Manaslu Himal. During this trekking route, you will experience the Himalayan culture and brave Gurkha of history with their cultural setting.  These are really unique for a western world with nature and culture its rich region with fine conditions for Birds. Trekkers can enjoy by Tea House eat the local dishes and witness daily life unfold around us and Expert Trekking Guide in Nepal.  It has natural diversity with a cultural variety if western Nepal.

Outline itinerary   

Day 01: Arrival in Katmandu TIA and transfer to hotel

Day 02: Full Sight Seeing in Kathmandu and Preparation Trip

Day 03: Kathmandu to Pokhara by Tourist Bus 7 hour

Day 04: Drive from Pokhara to Bijayapur and Trek to Kalikasthan

Day 05: Trek from Kalikasthan to Sikles Phedi

Day 06: Trek from Sikles Phedi to Parche

Day 07: Exploration Day at Parche

Day 08: Trek from Parche to Tara Hilltop

Day 09: Trek from Tara Hilltop to Bhurjumg Khola and drive to Pokhara

Day 10: Pokhara to Kathmandu by tourist bus 7 hours

Day 11: Final International departure

Details Itinerary

Day 01: Arrive at Kathmandu       

A delegate will be meet you at the arrival gate of Tribhuwan international airport then you will transfer to the hotel which you have chosen for relax and freshen up. In the evening we will have our welcome dinner with you and your trekking guide. 

Day 02: Sightseeing in Kathmandu

The second day of our trekking we will be taken for a full day sightseeing tour around Kathmandu valley after having breakfast. In this day we will visit center of pilgrimage Pashupatinath temple and Swaymbunath which are enlisted in UNESCO world heritage sites. After sightseeing we come back to hotel.  

Day 03: Drive Kathmandu to Pokhara

After having breakfast we will drive towards pokhara which is also known as the city of lake. We will go pohkara by seeing natural beauty of Nepal and after reaching pokhara at first we will went towards the hotel and if we have time then we went to see the beautiful lake Phewa Lake where you can enjoy the wonderful views of the Annapurna Himalayan ranges reflected in this lake.

Day 04: Drive from Pokhara to Bijayapur and Trek to Kalikasthan

After spending one night in pokhara we will slowly drive towards Kalikasthan through Bijayapur having breakfast in the morning. The views around are then the trails climb along a ridge through the Brahmin and chhetri village towards Kalikasthan and stay overnight in this place.

Day 05: Trek from Kalikasthan to Sikles Phedi

After spending one night in the Kalikasthan we will slowly drive towards Sikles Phedi after having breakfast in the morning. The route you cross Bhaise, Nawaldanda to reach Sikles Phedi and stay one night in this place by camping right beside the river.

Day 06: Trek from Sikles Phedi to Parche

 After spend one night in Sikles Phedi we will slowly start our journey towards Parche afterhaving breakfast in the morning. In the route we can see many wonderful views of the Himalayans and we will climbs up the trail again until we reach Parche and we stay overnight in this village.

Day 07: Exploration Day at Parche 

Today we don’t start our journey because we will explore Parche and we will hike down to Sikiles which is largest Gurung Village and in the evening you will be entertained by local culture program at your camp side after dinner.

Day 08: Trek from Parche to Tara Hilltop

After spend overnight in the Parche we will start our journey towards Tara hilltop after having breakfast in the morning. The trail passes through forest of rhododendron going gradually uphill to Tara Hilltop we will walk until we reach Tara Hilltop and stay one night in Tara hilltop.  

Day 09: Trek from Tara Hilltop to Bhurjumg Khola and drive to Pokhara

After spending one night in Tara hilltop we will slowly start our trekking towards pokhara through the route of Bhurjumg Khola after having breakfast in the morning. In the route we get any chance to explore many beautiful places of this region. We have lunch in Bhurjumg Khola than after we will drive for drive an hour to reach Pokhara and stay overnight in pokhara.   

Day 10: Pokhara to Kathmandu by Tourist bus 7 hours

We will drive to Kathmandu valley on the same highway we took to go to pokhara from the similar route through the hills and valleys. Another six hours in the highway will gives us time to observe the villages and town on the way from a different angle and after reaching Kathmandu and checking in the hotels we will have some free time to wander around the street of Thamel.     

Day 10: final departure

We will proudly drop you to the airport to catch your flight back to your home.

Sleeping

  • Tent (necessary for treks with camping)
  • Sleeping bag (–15° bag will suffice on most treks)*

  • Backpack (size depends on whether or not you have porters)

  • Duct tape (fixes just about everything, at least temporarily. To avoid carrying an entire roll wraps the desired amount around a pencil)

Manual Note

According to actual official Itinerary and cost if any thing will adding date or staff, or condition bad weather take helicopter, Rescue about these thing the price will be adding.
