Annapurna khayer Lake Trek is Less Touristic and New Trekking Route in Nepal

Annapurna khayer Lake Trek is one of the interesting trekking routes in the Annapurna region of Nepal. The destination remains untouched and unique as the trails are not famous as others in the western region. The trek is newly opened alternative trekking trail in the Annapurna region situated between classic Annapurna base camp and Jomsom trekking trails. This is one of off beaten trek in Annapurna which is an ideal place for that trekker who is looking for some days out of the main track to off quiet remote. This route is also known as Khopra trek which is wilderness route and only very few people know about it. The routes of this trek observe maximum places of Annapurna region. This trekking route offers us an opportunity to explore traditional villages, wonderful Scenery, endless and diversity culture and tempting views of river and valley. In this, we can see mainly Tamang and Gurung inhabitant who are settled here. the route of Khoprak trek including Ghorepani Poon hill trek as well.

Annapurna khayer Lake Trek is a less touristy area in the Annapurna region which begins from Pokhara Phedi after one hour drive from Pokhara. We can have an opportunity to view halcyon and beautiful environment all around us. The trails to this trek are mainly dominated by the colorful Rhododendron forest which blooms in the spring. The other treasure of these trekking trails is flora and Fauna which make our trekking trails more exciting and the rhododendron forest and other flowers in this trail make for a natural experience. This trekking trail gives an opportunity to take bath in a natural hot spring which is called Tatopani in Nepali. We also explore traditional and culture of the local people living in this region.  The best season for this trekking route is from February to June and September to December. While having trekking in this region we will get a warm welcome from the Gurung and the Magar community people with rural culture life.

Day 07: Trek to Bhaisi Kharka (3420m) 6 hrs

Details Itinerary

Day 01: Arrive at Kathmandu  TIA and transfer to hotel      

A delegate will be meet you at the arrival gate of Tribhuwan international airport then you will transfer to the hotel which you have chosen for relax and freshen up. In the evening we will have our welcome dinner with you and your trekking guide.  

Day 02: Sightseeing in Kathmandu and preparation trip

The second day of our trekking we will be taken for a full day sightseeing tour around Kathmandu valley after having breakfast. In this day we will visit center of pilgrimage Pashupatinath temple and Swaymbunath which are enlisted in UNESCO world heritage sites. After sightseeing we come back to hotel.   

Day 03: Drive to Pokhara  (820m.) 7 hours by tourist bus

After having breakfast we will drive towards pokhara which is also known as the city of lake. We will go pohkara by seeing natural beauty of Nepal and after reaching pokhara at first we will went towards the hotel and if we have time then we went to see the beautiful lake Phewa Lake where you can enjoy the wonderful views of the Annapurna Himalayan ranges reflected in this lake.

Day 04: Trek to Tolkha 30 minute by car (1700m) 6 hours.

From Pokhara 30 minute drive, we will begin the day with the early morning beautiful trek to through the beautiful trail of the region. We can view the most panoramic view of the region while trekking at this route. The trekking route goes for several hours through the beautiful and smooth path to Tolka. Stay overnight at lodge.

Day 05: Trek to Jhinu Dada Hot Spring (1715m) 6 hours

After Breakfast we continue trek to Jhinu Danda hot spring, the trekking will be through the exhilarating forest viewing some glorious view along with the encounter with some animals and birds. We will walk through the main trail to the Jhinu dada for several hours. The night will be at Jhinu dada at 1715m. Jhinu dada is popular for the natural hot spring water. We will take the refreshing bath at the natural hot water of that region and stay overnight at lodge.

Day 06: Trek to Tadapani (2645m) 6 hours

After breakfast our beautiful journey trek to tadapni, the route will be interesting as it get closer to Tadapani at the altitude of 2645m. The night will be exhilarating at Tadapani. The trail is local Gurung village junction of the Annapurna Base Camp and ghorepani poon hill with Beautiful Himalayan scenery stay overnight at lodge.

Day 07: Trek to Bhaisi Kharka (2500m) 6 hours

After having a splendid night at Tadapani, we will move towards the Bhaisi dada with the energy from the mouth watering breakfast. The trekking route goes smoothly through the beautiful region of Bhaisi Kharka,  Wild rhododendron, blue pine and oak trees forest, if have a chance to see Wild deer and Himalayan longur and stay overnight at lodge.

Day 08: Trek to Krishtibung (2985m) 7 hours

Early morning, we will wake up at Bhaisi Kharka and will move towards the min path following the route to Kristibung. The trekking goes for several interesting and exhilarating hour from Bhaisi Kharka to Kristibung. Kristibung is at the altitude of 2985m. Stay overnight at lodge.

Day 09: Kristibung to Khopra Phedi (3350m) 7 hours

After enjoying the night at the tented camp, we will trek towards the beautiful trekking route of the region following the path towards Khopra Phedi. The trekking goes for about 5 to 6 hours which will enable us to view the panoramic view of the region to entertain ourselves, altitude of 3350m. Stay overnight at lodge.

Day 10: Khopra Phedi to Khopra hill (4025m) 6 hours

The trekking of today goes towards the height to Khopra hill. From the Phedi, we will begin our journey which goes for about 5 to 6 hours steeply climb to the way. We will end that day trekking at Khopra hill with the resting view around the surrounding. The night will be beautiful at Khopra hill at the altitude of 4025m. Stay overnight at lodge.

Day 11: Khopra Hill to Jaljala (3525m) 6 hours

Some of the trekkers may spend one day at the Khopra hill as the acclimatization day but as A Nepal Trek suggests, we will continue our journey from Khopra hill to Jaljala. Jaljala is at the altitude of 3525m which is a steep way from the Khopra hill. Stay overnight at lodge.

Day 12: Jaljala to Khayer Lake and back to Jaljala (2850m) 6 hours

From Jaljala, we will move our way towards our destination. Early morning we will gain the height with the increasing way to the Khayer Lake. We will spend some quality time at the spot and will return back to Jaljala the same day. Stay overnight at lodge.

Day 13: Jaljala to Khopra Phedi (3350m) 7 hours

From Jaljala, we will return back to Khopra Phedi. The returning journey will be long from Jaljala to Khopra Phedi. But the scenic beauty of the way will surely mesmerizes us. After attaining our dream, the routes also seem closer and smoother. Stay overnight at lodge.

Day 14: Khopra Phedi to Swanta (2800m) 6 hours

From Khopra Phedi, we will continue our returning journey following the trail to Swanta. The trail is easier as we return more back to the route. The trekking to this region will experience us beautiful moments of trekking. Stay overnight at lodge.

Day 15: Swanta to Ghorepani (2850m) 6 hours

From Swanta, we will make our returning journey to Ghorepani. We will walk through the main trail from Swanta to Ghorepani. The trekking route will be interesting with the fellow trekkers. Walking along the way will arrive at Ghorepani. Stay overnight at lodge.

Day 16:  Trek to Ghorepani (2800m 7 hrs)

After leaving Tatopani we continue to ghorepani which is massive huge uphill it’s take around 7/8 hours from tatopani to Ghorepani must pass 1700 m. part of ascending larges Magar Community Ghara, shikha, chitra and ghorepani which is situate 2874 m. (9429 ft.) junction of Annapurna Trekking Routes and stay overnight at lodge.

Day 17:  Trek to Pokhara 6 hours (827m.)

Early morning trek to Poon hill 45 menute from ghorepani, the Poon hill main view point of Annapurna Region trekking routes those who has short and long holidays. The situate of poon hill 3210m established by Major Poon, now all trekkers make enjoy with sun rise and sunset with Magnificent Himalayan scenery Annapurna south, Annapurna I, Annapurna III, Annapurna IIII, Annapurna II, Gangapurna, Machapuchhre, Nilgiri, Dhaulagiri and Many others trekking peaks. After poon hill we will return to Ghorepani take breakfast trek to Continue pokhara. Around 6/7 hours walks and 1 hour drive to reach pokhara stay overnight at hotel. 

Day 18: Pokhara to Kathmandu 6/7 hours by tourist bus

We will drive to Kathmandu valley on the same highway we took to go to pokhara from the similar route through the hills and valleys. Another six hours in the highway will gives us time to observe the villages and town on the way from a different angle and after reaching Kathmandu and checking in the hotels we will have some free time to wander around the street of Thamel.  

Day 19: Final International departure

We will proudly drop you to the airport to catch your flight back to your home.

Manual Note

According to actual official Itinerary and cost if any thing will adding date or staff, or condition bad weather take helicopter, Rescue about these thing the price will be adding.
