Details Itinerary
Day 01: Arrival in Kathmandu and check-in to Hotel
After landing the flight at TIA, a representative of Adventure Everest Team will warmly receive you and will move towards the hotel arranged and brief to about the Everest Base Camp.
Day 02: Full Day Sightseeing Tour of Kathmandu Valley and Pre-trip Preparation
Today, we spend the whole for the sightseeing tour of Kathmandu Valley with a guide. After having breakfast, we visit Pashupatinath, which is regarded as the holiest temple of Lord Shiva then to Bauddhanath known as Little Tibet. From Bauddhanath, we visit Swayambhunath known as Monkey Temple which is an ancient religious place for Buddhist. After Swayambhunath, we drive to Kathmandu (Basantpur) Durbar Square. Finally, you will have dinner at the hotel and stay there overnight.
Day 03: Fly from Kathmandu to Lukla (2804m) and trek to Phakding (2610m) – 3 Hours
Early morning when the sun rises, we will begin our trekking by moving towards the airport to catch the flight to Lukla. From Lukla, we will move through the pass to reach Phakding which is a beautiful village of this region. In Phakding every one of us will be eager to stay and to know more about the beautiful village.
Day 04: Trek from Phakding to Namche Bazaar (3441m) – 5 Hours
From Phakding, we will walk upward to Namche Bazaar by crossing several suspension bridges over to Dudh Koshi River. Walking slowly will offer us a magnificent view of Mt. Thamserku (6618m). We will walk across the Sagarmatha national park. We will stay at the reputed hotel.
Day 05: Acclimatization at Namche Bazaar
Namche Bazaar is really a suitable place to accumulate ours. So we need to explore the surrounding of Namche bazaar whole day. We are facilitated by everything in Namche bazaar like ATMs, banks, internet cafes, restaurants, bakery, hospitals, government office, and other many facilities. Day 06: Trek from Namche to Tyangboche Monastery (3860m) – 5 Hours
From Namche Bazaar, we will follow the cold breeze in the early morning. The scintillating view of Mount Everest, Nuptse, Lhotse, Amadablam and several other ranges will amaze us in route. We can see beautiful monasteries and stupas. We will stay the night at lodges at Tengboche.
Day 07: Trek from Tyangboche to Dingboche (4360m) – 4 Hours
Early morning, we will have a short visit to Tengboche and its monasteries. We will have a dazzling background of White Mountains. We can click some photos. We will then begin our trekking over to Dingboche where we will stay our night.
Day 08: Hike to Chhukung Valley (4710m) and return back to Dingboche – 4 Hours
We will spend another day as acclimatization day at Dingboche. We make a short hike to Chhukung through ImjaKhola valley. From ImjaKhola, the splendid views of the surrounding mountains especially Lhotse will amaze us. Then we return back to Dingboche by the evening and stay overnight at a guesthouse.
Day 09: Trek from Dingboche to Lobuche (4910m) – 5 Hours
We continue walking along the lateral moraine of Khumbu Glacier. We will pass the stone memorials for the climbers who have perished during the expedition in summits nearby. And we continue to climb Lobuche. We stay overnight at a guesthouse.
Day 10: Trek from Lobuche to Everest Base Camp (5365m) and back to Gorakshep – 8 Hours
After breakfast, we will march to Gorak Shep from where we will see many sky kissing mountains including the top of the world. We will follow the trail which will lead us to the base camp of Everest. We will take some breath in the breeze of Mount Everest. We will return back to Gorak Shep following the same path.
Day 11: Hike up to Kalapatthar (5545m) and trek down to Pheriche (4200m) – 7 Hours
Today is the gist day of our journey. We will trek earlier to Kalapatthar. We can see the scintillating view of sun piercing the cloud to reflect on the white snow. After a continuous ascent for several hours, we will reach Kalapatthar. From Kalapatthar we will return the way to Pheriche.
Day 12: Trek from Pheriche to Namche Bazaar (3441m) – 6 Hours
From Pheriche, we take the slightly different route down to Orsho. We reach Pangboche where we can explore the oldest monastery. The monastery is said to contain the scalp and bones of abominable snowman Yeti. We leave Tyangboche Monastery and finally arrive at Namche. We stay overnight at a guesthouse.
Day 13: Trek from Namche to Lukla (2804m) – 6 Hours
From Namche, we return back to Lukla. We will reach Lukla earlier. So we will explore whole Lukla valley in our leisure time. We stay overnight at lodge.
Day 14: Flight from Lukla to Kathmandu
We will reach Kathmandu within few hours. After getting off from the plane, we can visit around the Kathmandu. We can view the most panoramic and magnificent picture of surrounding of the Kathmandu valley. We will spend the night at Kathmandu arranged Adventure Everest Team.
Day 15: Final Departure
We will proudly drop you to the airport to catch your flight back to your home.
